Bottega Vèra Orvieto

A lovely wine bar in a picturesque street. We were given a great recommendation for a local wine, and they have an extensive selection! We only wish we had more time in Orvieto to return!

Cute little wine bar in Orvieto. Served wine tastings, bottles, and wines by the glass, in addition to local beers. They also have sandwiches and antipasto. The prices were reasonable and service was friendly. There is both inside and outside seating. Bathroom was clean. Good selection of Italian wines for purchase by the bottle. Highly recommend!

Really busy and popular wineshop near the Duomo. Prices on by the glass wine were great and despite how busy they were the server was friendly and courteous. We had a great experience so we went again the following day!

Would love to be here on a slow day and learn about the wine (and spirits) they have by the bottle. Food also looked good even if we did not try it.

Sometimes you just stumble upon perfection: the absolutely heavenly Tartufiamo sandwich combined with a glass of the silky Grechetto Vardano provides a pallet of flavours that can only be found at Michilin-rated restaurants, except for this cozy place. To top it off the staff is very friendly.
Needless to say: i recommend it to anyone.

Amazing wines and tasting platters from small large, lots of choice in a stylish and laid back setting, try the local wines..a much better choice than a aperol spritz!

Reasonable price for wine tasting

Waitstaff was really helpful and friendly, especially with our wine tastings. My crostini platter was also very delicious!! One of my favorite little dishes in Italy!

Stopped here for some drinks and food - it was great! Staff was very helpful and kind. We settled on a delicious wine and amaro to enjoy. And then followed it up with two different glasses of red wine. All were great! The meats and cheese plate was delicious. They also had gluten free bread! ❤ We wish we had more time in Orvieto because this would be a regular place for us!! Definitely stop in!

Excellent spot to sample Orvieto classic wines. They also have a great selection of local cheeses and meats.

Super nice enoteca, perfect for a tasty aperitivo in short walking distance of the Duomo. Taste Italian cheese, cold cuts and wine, served in different variations on platters. Very good service!!

A quick apericena was delicious. We drank an excellent glass of Orvieto Suoeriore - Luigi e Giovanna Fun buzzy atmosphere with great cheery service

Our favorite spot in Orvieto, went three days in a row. They were open late enough one night when we went in to sell us some salumi and pecorino for a late dinner. We went back each of the next two days for wine tasting, people watching, and relaxing. Great people, great recommendations.

I’ve been to this place a number of times. Sitting watching people go by sipping a drink and enjoying the cheese plate. The atmosphere is great, the sandwiches are really good and it’s a prime spot with a great wine menu.

Lovely vibe and atmosphere, great wine. The staff were very friendly. A fun place to sit, relax and chat amongst friends or with other tourists.

Beautiful venue with incredible wine selection and delicious fresh local produce. We had a shared platter and a couple drinks and it was perfect. Great atmosphere too.

€10 wine tasting of local wines, gluten free bread available (for cheese boards, sandwiches, panini). Went back for breakfast the next day and the gluten free sandwich was amazing! And lovely staff, great atmosphere

Had an unexpected drop in to this bottega whilst shelting from a rain storm. Intimate bar with relaxed atmosphere, fabulous wines, delicious plates to accompany them, and friendly service. And, of course, we took a bottle away with us.

Fantastic spot to taste the local food and wine. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff!

Beautiful and cosy place, with many wine options and good prices. Perfect to make a break and have a fast meal like sandwiches or salads before sightseeing. Enjoying a cheese cold cuts board appreciating a good wine with friends, outside is also a good idea.
