This place is a must see when visiting the Dolomites. About 2 hours from Verona by car. At the top is a nice, if overpriced restaurant. Had a beer, coffee and goulash, all tasty. Dogs allowed inside. Visited in autumn and the colors were beautiful. There were some clouds and fog which made for dramatic photos. From the lift station its about a 10 minute walk uphill on a dirt path to the view everybody wants, overlooking the cliffs and down the valley. While it's definitely touristy, as when we visited about 4 people were using drones and everybody had tripods. But its worth it. The views were stunning. Definitely recommend. And very dog friendly.

Absolutely beautiful landscape
I’ve never seen any place look as stunning and breathtaking as these meadows!
Massive ridgeline and little huts on a wide mountain meadow
You should absolutely visit this place at least once in a lifetime
I’ve never seen anything so stunning
5 stars just for the views :)

This is a must see for anyone!!! 2 cable cars whisk you 2500m up the mountain in no time at all. Once on the top your surrounded by unbelievable views of the Dolomites after a short, steep walk from the station. The car park at the bottom does get full by 09:30 so get there early! There’s a nice cafe before you board too.

I think this is a must-go. The logistics is really straightforward and the views majestic. It is expensive by Dolomites' standard but still cheaper than the Swiss lifts.
So a few advice:
1. Figure out the best time to go. The Seceda ridgeline faces East so if you visit too early in the morning, the Sun will be behind the ridgeline. Therefore, I'd advise to check the panoramic cam on their official website. Late morning is pretty ideal, the Sun is to your side and one half of the Seceda is illuminated while the other is still in the shadows.
2. Figure out when to turn back. There's really only one main path towards along the ridgeline. So you really have Law of Diminishing Returns acting out here. You can use the photos I've attached as a reference.
3. Don't hike down unless you're prepared to make your way back up. There are really many different paths around the whole area. So I'll advise not to go all the way down to Baitahutte, but rather take the early win and head back towards the lift.

A short cable car ride (actually 2 cable car rides) to a beautiful view. The restaurant up top was great as well. Totally worth the $$. (It's not cheap)

Amazing panoramic view! Definitely, worth a visit..actually a "must visit".

10-15 mins ride to the top from Ortisei. One ticket (return) price for adult is 38€.

There is a bar/restaurant (Hütte) at the top where you can eat/drink/relax. Great food, service, fair prices.

This place is amazing! The efficiency of the lifts/gondola to support the offseason hikers was spectacular. Then, as you exit the lift and step foot into the valley, you’re greeted with a panorama of prominent rock faces blended together with a vast field of green, cows, and hikers. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Dolomites.

Remember to keep your parking pass handy as a missing pass will result in full payment. Our was damaged, but the ticket desk was ready to help us resolve the issue.

3rd time here. Gotta do the Gondola. Then from Col Raiser on your next visit hike to it past Pieralonga.

Fantastic soothing alp. More spectacular than Seiser Alm. Great to walk up from St Ulrich and go down by cable car. Nice mountain huts all over the place with great local food

The most beautiful peak in the Dolomites. Intense 2 hour long uphill hike from the first stop at the ferreta, but you can still take it all the way to the top. Lots of winds on the top so bring something hot unless you're Canadian.

Seceda is 2500 m high and is one of my favorites in this area 🤩
The cable car to Seceda is called 'Seceda Valley Station' and is located in Ortisei, Val Gardena. Price: 35 Euro per person return ticket, from Ortisei to Seceda and back (it includes both cable cars)
•Parking costs 1.5 Euros per hour or 8 euros for the day.
•The best time to visit is from June to September (depending on the weather that year, there may still be snow in May and it might start snowing as early as September). To avoid crowds, aim for September-October.
•During the winter Seceda is used as a ski slope.

Possibly one of my highlights in the Dolomites! Epic landscape and dramatic mountains. Totally worth the hike. I recommend taking the cable car from Col Raiser to give you a head start, otherwise the hike is too long. On the way up to Seceda, there are several places to stop for a drink or some food. Great views, great hike!

A true paradise in the Alps. Relatively easy hiking trail, with amazing views on every side. Picturesque alpine cabins. A place where you can truly rest your soul.

Totally worth it! The weather forecast said there would be thunderstorm but actually it ended up with cloudy, beautiful mountains with dramatic clouds are simply breath taking!

Fun hike, incredibile voews. We completed a longer, less-populated route, which was well worth it.
