Bistro Sorrento

I had an amazing experience at Bistro Sorrento! The food is absolutely fantastic—each dish is so thoughtfully prepared, and you can really tell the chef puts a lot of heart into it. The service was top-notch too, with the staff making sure everything was perfect and that we were well taken care of. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the owner is so welcoming—it really feels like you're part of the family. Plus, they even offer a free shuttle, which makes getting there super easy. Highly recommend this place!

This has to be one of the hidden gems of Sorrento, while other restaurants get some of the things right, it is rare to find a restaurant that gets everything right. They have the most amazing staff which started by Pasquale (the owner) picking us up from where we were staying and treating us like family. You are greated by a beautiful floral courtyard and a modern but chic styled restaurant. The quality service continued throughout the meal with excellent and knowledgeable suggestions for both the best steaks and wines to accompany them. Our wine glasses were always kept full and the moment a napkin would slide off of one of our laps they were there with a new one. The suggestions were not overbearing if you wanted something they would not stop you, but if you asked for help they would be more than happy to guide you in making an educated choice. Nice little palate cleansers such as the "Italian Sushi" when we arrived and the one before dessert were excellent and added to the experience. Sitting in front of the kitchen made us realize how much of an art form the chefs had elevated cooking to, even after we had finished dessert we kept seeing the chefs prepare new items that made us want to try new things when we return to Sorrento again. Do not miss this place, it will be the highlight of your trip.

we called to make a reservation and the owner offered to pick us up from our hotel. family owned and run, their service was great. complimentary prosciutto sushi to start. the focaccia appetizer was really good. bread was soft and doughy. pastas were unlike any that we had so far on our italy trip and they served them to us spilt in two dishes already. the steak was cooked very well and served unseasoned but with three different types of salt on the side. id def recommend the smoked salt. dessert they started with complimentary limoncello cake and then we had the pastry sampler. overall well worth the experience would def go back.

Where do I even start on how amazing this place is? Not only was the food the best steakhouse we had in Italy but the owner Pasquale and his son Daniel who is the most amazing cook! He is literally like the real life Bradley Cooper in ‘Burnt.’ Every single detail is perfection. Never seen anything like it, even in the states. UNREAL! Already ready to back and I just left. You will not be disappointed! GO! A++++++++

Bistro Sorrento has to be one of the hidden gems of our trip. The food was fabulous! We were able to watch the chef as he was so particular and perfecto with his creations ! The atmosphere was beautiful. As we were leaving they offered to shuttle us back to our bus stop and gave us his number. Don’t hesitate to call and ask about their shuttle This is not far from main road but the walk would be difficult for someone older.

Amazing experience at Bistro Sorrento. Starting from the location, there is a lush atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Welcomed by friendly staff, the menu was well explained, and great recommendations were made. Had amazing wine, with full sommelier service, and steak was totally worth it.

Great meal at the Bistro. The steak was absolutely stunning. Sweet and full of flavour. Just as you would expect from being dry aged! Very nice people. Will pick you up and drop you off if you ask.at no charge. 100% try this family run restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

During our visit to Sorrento, we had an unforgettable dining experience at this Italian gem. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The highlight of our evening was undoubtedly the pasta tasting menu—each dish was a perfect blend of authentic flavors and creative twists. Every course was more delightful than the last, showcasing the chef's mastery of Italian cuisine.

To top off an already perfect evening, the restaurant staff offered to drive us back into town after our meal. This thoughtful gesture truly set them apart and made our evening in Sorrento even more memorable. If you're looking for exceptional food and service, this is the place to be!

Really good food, nice ambiance as well. One of the best steaks I have had, good recommendations by the staff. Starter and desert were also amazing. Really reasonably priced as well I thought.

Super service, and they even have a free shuttle car to the local Sorrento hotels. We walked there but it’s a bit of a walk, especially in the dark I would recommend to take their car back.

By far this is one of the best restaurants in Sorrento! The staff was so wonderful. The food was beautifully presented and was a culinary delight! The owner Pasquale takes great pride in the food that he serves and makes sure that everyone is satisfied. At the end of the evening we asked if they could call a cab for us to return to our hotel. Pasquale said "no need we will have a car to take you".

This is not a restaurant or a bistro, this is a heavenly dining experience. Everything was perfect, starting with the atmosphere, choice of music and lighting. The food is spectacular, the chef that made the tortellini with truffles deserves a special place in heaven. Everything that we’ve tried was amazing and the personnel is well prepared, very polite and eager to help with suggestions without invading your personal space. I never encountered this level of service in Italy so far. This bistro should be at the top of the list with must-visit places in Sorrento. Pasquale, thank you so much, we had a magic night!

Just the best experience!!! These people truly care about their guests having the nicest experience. Every detail is looked after and makes the whole experience very unique and special. The staff is so kind and they take great care of everything — they even gave us a ride up the hill to get there!!! You don’t find service like this at many places. Prices are also very fair. Wonderful all around!!! My husband eats meat and I’m a vegetarian and we both had a fabulous time with plenty of delicious food to eat. Thank you so much!!!

Quiet and just off the main strip of Sorrento, this restaurant has a courtesy car service to pick/drop you from the main points in town. In a seaside town one of our last nights we were craving beef. This is the spot! The meat is wonderfully prepared and beautifully presented. The staff are kind and helpful. This was a dining experience!

So far one of the greatest meals I have had in Sorrento is at Bistro Sorrento. It’s a quaint and beautiful spot that offers fresh and decadent meals with exceptional service. Pasquale, Sara and Davide were sure to make this experience a memorable one and a delicious one at that. I will be coming back her to try everything else.

Absolutely must visit if you are in Sorrento.
The ambience and aesthetics were top notch was with Bougainvillea flowers covering the roof.
One of the courteous staff with their wide selection of wine and cold cuts .
The deli platter we ordered had some amazing collection of cheese and meat, moreover it was explained to us so nicely .
Apart from the mouthwatering beef steak and pasta , the behaviour of the staff and the explanation of each and every item amazed us.
Having dinner over there was an experience not to forget their complementary limoncello sponge cake was the best I have ever tasted .
Definitely coming again if ever got another chance .
Also they provided free pick up from the hotel L’arcobaleno which added an extra feather in their hat.

We visited Sorrento at the end of August. This is the best Steakhouse in Italy. The owner Pasquel picks you up from the hotel and drops you off.A class service!! Very polite, welcoming and courteous staff. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, classy and modern. Pasquel’s son is the chef and his daughter is the manager (making sure everything is perfect) Family friendly place where we felt at home, welcomed and respected. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. I recommend the Scottona steak. We had an amazing birthday dinner. They even had a huge fake cake so I could blow out candles on my birthday, what a pleasant surprise! Please visit if you are in Sorrento, Italy.

Hidden Gem. Based on other reviews we booked this place for dinner. Their taxi service awaited us at an agreed place and drove us into unassuming areas at the edge of Sorrento. We were welcomed into an elegant nicely decorated but comfortable environment. There was a slight language barrier as only 1 lovely person spoke English well. The food was fun made with love and artisan touch finished with several lovely little surprises. We greatly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend this place.
