Chic & Shock Volterra

Great gelato, especially their own "chic & shock" ice cream. And lovely people, the lady in charge explained us about the shop, the history, previous location... can recommend Chic & Shock!

Absolutely fabulous gelato! We had the coffee, melon, stracciatella and strawberry . Delicious. Incredibly generous portions and very reasonable prices, especially after experiencing Siena and San G. The best gelato we've had so far!

Great little spot in Volterra. We found this place after walking around for a few minutes to have a quick snack and we decided it would be a great place to get engaged because they would be nobody there to ruin our moment. Stopped here before I looked at the reviews. I was happy I did. The ice cream was delicious. The pistachio and nocella were fantastic. From what I can tell, the bad reviews come from the food, not the gelato.

Didn't have an ice cream but a Tiramisu from their fridge. Suffice to say that there is a reason why there's no photo on here... Gone in 60 secs

Volterra è stupenda ma ad essere onesti io e mia moglie torniamo ogni estate per questo piccolo gioiello. Pochi posti a sedere, servizio impeccabile ma soprattutto cibo del territorio cucinato con passione e cura. Panini, piatti del giorno, tutto strepitoso. Grazie per essere la nostra costante, ogni estate.

Also das Eis war wirklich hervorragend. Zwar ist der Preis mit 3.50 für 2 Geschmacksrichtungen relativ hoch, aber da die Eisdiele auch im touristischen Zentrum von Volterra liegt, ist dies nachvollziehbar.
Die Geschmacksrichtungen klangen alle super, wir haben Schokolade-Salz, Pistazie, Pekannuss-Karamell und Salz-Karamell probiert und waren begeistert.

Ci sono tornata spinta dal ricordo del panino con cinghiale alla Volterrana. Anche quest'anno è stato superlativo:stufato di cinghiale di qualità fatto proprio in casa dalla proprietaria seguendo la loro ricetta di famiglia abbinato a pecorino e pane caldo e croccante. Il tutto accompagnato da ottimo vino rosso ,ambiante piacevole e personale molto gentile e accogliente. Quest'anno ho assaggiato anche il gelato di loro produzione:buonissimo e con varietà di gusti ricercata e originale. Il menù comprende panini di vario tipo con materie prime locali di ottima qualità e selezione di vino e birre artigianali Rapporto qualità prezzo estremamente valido. Grazie!continuate così! Tornerò sicuramente !

Chic & Shock in Volterra ist eine fantastische Eisdiele, die man unbedingt besuchen sollte! Die Auswahl an Eissorten ist beeindruckend, und jede Geschmacksrichtung ist ein wahres Geschmackserlebnis. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die fruchtigen Sorbets und die cremigen, traditionellen Sorten wie Pistazie und Stracciatella. Das Eis ist immer frisch und von höchster Qualität. Das Ambiente ist modern und einladend, und das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage in der malerischen Altstadt von Volterra macht Chic & Shock zu einem perfekten Zwischenstopp, um sich zu erfrischen und eine süße Pause einzulegen. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle Eisliebhaber!

Abbiamo sia fatto aperitivo, con delle bruschette fantastiche e dell'ottimo vino, che provato la gelateria, immancabile!

Capitati oggi per caso, scelta migliore non la potevamo fare. Alimenti di ottima qualità ed anche il prezzo nella norma. Per un tagliere, 2 panini, acqua, una coca cola, una birra artigianale ( dettaglio non da poco)e 2 caffè abbiamo speso 45 euro, buono! Porzioni abbondanti e ripeto di una bontà infinita.
Non appena avrò la possibilità di tornare a Volterra non mancherò di tornarci.

Es gibt auch Törtchen und Macarons, die wir aber nicht probiert haben.
Beim Eis gibt es sehr viel Auswahl und bis auf wenige Ausnahmen sind alle glutenfrei. Es wird ein separater Löffel verwendet, so dass es keine Probleme bei den glutenfreien Sorten gibt.
Für 2 Kugeln/Sorten zahlt man 3,50€, absolut fairer Preis.
Nettes Personal und unfassbar gutes Eis!
