Campeggio Punta di Crabbia

Wonderful place for a family stay at an absolutely gorgeous lake Orta! The staff are friendly, prices are reasonable, the area is small but well taken care of. Can recommend wholeheartedly. If there was a place to improve: the restaurant, sorry, but against the background, its sub par. Still five stars for an amazing location and service. PS the gentelman at the reception is gold, and appears to speak every language on the planet.

It is one of the favourite places we have as a family to spend a weekend or holidays near summer.
- Perfect location with a private beach.
- Much reasonable prices than many other places around.
- Runned by a family. And it can't have better and nicer stuff working as Elia, Luca and the team.
Now, they are currently building bigger cabins. So defo, we will try it soon.

So, imagine you’re looking for a nice place to set up camp. Don’t look further, this campsite has all amenities you need.

They even offer a free service for bringing down your SUP’s (at Italian pace). The restaurant is fair priced, but some toilet buildings are a bit aged, but there are plenty on the campground anyway. Would recommend staying here a few days, and go to Orta or on the lake in general!

Great place with cheepest prices we seen in a last month of camping. The staff is polite and friendly, pizza is simply cheep, the private beach is beautiful without people. The morning and night swims are great start/end of every day as the watter here is warm and the view on night villages and towns around the lake are almost dreamlike. Relaxing here was the best choice we have done.

Really nice and relaxing camping with a quaint little private beach. The staff is super friendly. Especially Matteo makes sure you understand everything very well and is very friendly. They even drive you to nearby villages like Orta for 2 euros (round trip). Just call them to pick you up, it’s like a private taxi service. Just lovely :)

This great family-run camping may not have two swimming pools or a choice of reataurants, but it does offer great service by the members of the family that actually own it. Luca will make you a cappucino or a pizza even if the bar is closed, Matteo will go out of his way to get you picked up from a restaurant after a glass of wine too many. The Orta lake is much more quite than the touristy Lago Maggiore - which you can enjoy from the shaded private beach of the campeggio. I think it is a much better place to stay than those expensive resorts.

Quiet and pleasant place. We stayed in a bungalow. The conditions are very good, the staff is attentive and friendly.

We were only passing through but really appreciated the warm welcome when we arrived at this beautiful campsite. Highly recommend the cocktails!

Beautiful place for a nature break

Wir waren für gut zwei Wochen auf dem Campingplatz und hatten einen Stellplatz mit Seeblick. Für die Zimmer gibt es keine Bewertung, da wir gezeltet haben. Die sanitären Anlagen waren einfach aber immer sauber. Am See gab es einen schönen Badebereich, das Wasser des Sees war sehr klar und erfrischend. In der Bar des Platzes kann man hervorragend essen, die Bedienung ist top. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die familiäre Atmosphäre auf dem Platz. Man fühlt sich jederzeit willkommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Wunderschön gelegener Campingplatz mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Wir hatten wunderbare zwei Wochen mit toller Aussicht auf den See. Unser Platz lag bis zum frühen Nachmittag im Schatten.
Die sanitären Anlagen waren immer sauber und wurden mehrfach täglich gereinigt.
Top Platz, auf den wir gerne wieder Urlaub machen😊

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans le camping Punta di Crabbia. Les sanitaires sont très propres, les emplacements sont grands avec pour certains vue sur le lac d'Orta. Excellent personnel qui parle français si besoin, le restaurant a été également très apprécié.
Nous le recommandons,si vous souhaitez visiter la région du lac Majeur car les accès routiers sont très faciles.

Supertoffe locatie met eigen strand. Veel leuker dan de grotere resorts. Relaxte, niet touristische sfeer. Water heeeeerlijk. Ortameer een echte aanrader. We hadden een chalet met uitzicht op het Ortameer.

Ein schöner Platz am Hang in Terrassen mit Möglichkeiten kleine Hütten zu mieten. Privater Zugang zum See mit nur kleinem Weg. Schön entspannend und ruhig.

Toller Campingplatz mit italienischem Hinterland-Vibe. Außerdem wunderbarer Zugang zu einer Badestelle am See. Absolut empfehlenswert: Espresso Martini und Negroni an der Bar! Überhaupt ein toller Service von den jederzeit hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern. Sanitäranlagen durchaus mit Luft nach Oben.
