Charming trattoria nestled in the town center, offering an authentic taste of Apulian cuisine and ambiance. Savor hearty, flavorful local dishes for a delightful lunch or dinner experience. The service, led by Chef Pio and his team, was commendable, making us feel truly welcomed.

Excellent Italian food experience. Highly recommend, especially if visiting the Sanctuary of Padre Pio. Beautiful family run restaurant with a very homely & authentic feel. Card & cash. Dogs allowed as long as well behaved. Recommend the house Vino Rosso 🍷 👌

This place is perfect for me. Local specialties at a very reasonable price. Just be aware that the choice may be limited. When I went it was one for each course but the antipasto was a great selection of dishes and a large meal in itself. Very friendly team.

High quality food, local and authentic, friendly and welcoming staff. Special antipasti, not your usual southern Italian meal. Loved the pancotto and fave e cicorie

100% authentic Italian food!! Really good, but they don’t speak English and you don’t order, they just bring food to you.

Best food we had in Puglia, friendly and helpful. We had antipasti and mixed grill. Antipasti alone is about 7 dishes with very generous amounts. We shared antipasti for one as we are not big eaters and we couldn't even finish it. We also shared one mixed grill and again we couldn't even put a dent into that. Needless to say we took it with us in a doggy bag... Highly recommended for quality and value. Typical local couzine at it's best...

The tastiest and most abundant Italian food we have had in a long time. Go for the menu, although ordering for less people than actually show up. Leave some space for the Primi pasta and Secondi meat. The digestive at the end of the meal will help!

Very authentic, family restaurant, with amazing food. It was a little difficult to find it, but I couldn’t imagine a better place to eat. Very cozy, very nice staff. Highly recommend!!!

We came here based on the positive reviews on google and trip advisor and this place lived up to it's 5-star rating.

We arrived just after they opened for dinner and we seated in a small room at the back of the restaurant. We had no idea what to expect when we sat down and the waiter with his limited English said "you get traditional?" We said sure and wow...what a meal he presented. We received 4 courses and by the time the 4th had come out we had to turn away dessert which would have been their 5th offering.

Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, service and yes amazing food! I would without hesitation come back to Chiazza Ranna for dinner. Thank you!

A wonderful find! Our family truly enjoyed the hospitality, quick seating (for 8!) and food service, and delicious and varied regional dishes. The kids were full after the antipasti! We will have to return on our next visit to San Giovanni Rotondo and St. Padre Pio! Grazie mille!

This restaurant was recommended to us by a waitress at a nearby cafe. We were hesitant to go in at first because it didn't quite look like a restaurant. But as soon as we walked in we were greeted and led to a table in a back room. Just like the other reviews, the owner/waiter didn't speak english and we just went with it. Luckily a nice French couple who frequented the place spoke english and led us through the process. The food was wonderful; fresh, homemade, and plentiful. We only made it through 3 courses we were so full. The best part was their homemade Amaro, an herbal liquor digestif. They put the bottle on your table so you could have as much as you wanted. All this for 35 euro for the two of us!

I have lived in Italy for 2 years bouncing around the county and this is hands down the best place I’ve ate. The authentic feel makes it as if you are eating with the family.

Some of the best food in the region can be discovered here. Staff helpful and friendly, atmosphere cozy and warm. If you are driving park on the one way loop that rings the neighborhood. Drinking thru the small alleys can prove to be challenging.
