Nel Blu - Toscana a Due

Staying at Nel Blue was one of the best decisions we could have made while staying at Pienza! Waking up every morning and seeing such a beautiful sight from apartment windows was a spectacular experience to have 🙌 The apartment itself was one of a kind, well furnished and equipped, having a mix of old and new furniture that made it even more cozy, because you feel as if staying in a true italian home. Everything here was suited for a great stay, there were even little treats left for us to enjoy and use, like snacks, drinks, etc. - some of them even made by owner's family in the farm (wine, olive oil). The hosts (Leonie and Nicco) where exceptional as well - really helpful and friendly all though-out our stay at Pienza. If you want they can even give you some guidance on what to visit in Pienza and nearby, recommend and book a restaurant, as well as give you a tour themselves. So they really go all the way! 😊
Definetly would recommend to anyone who is going to stay at Pienza, to do it at Nel Blu. Trust us, you won't regret it 😇

Totally recommended!! The service and accommodation experience far exceeded that of a five-star hotel. We truly felt their concept of "living like a local". The interior of the room is exactly the same as the photo. As soon as we entered the room, we were shocked by the view outside the window. At the same time, they provided us with a rich variety of local specialties as snacks. Geographically, it is located in the center of Pienza, and there is a viewing corridor as soon as you go out, and the parking lot is not far away. During the trip, we participated in farm visits and ruins visits. In Nicco's clear and humorous narration, we learned how this traditional Tuscan farm operates, and were fascinated by the stories of the mysterious ruins and three generations of their family. We have never deeply understood the other side of an ancient town. When we left, we bought some agricultural products, which were also good value for money. This place left us with romantic and unforgettable memories, and we will stay here again when we come next time!

My husband and I stayed at Nel Blu in late September with Leonie and Nicco and it was absolutely lovely. Not only were the accommodations clean, cozy and in a great location within Pienza, but the apartment had thoughtful touches from their family farm (wine, olive oil, etc.) which we got to enjoy during our stay. Apart from the stay, Leonie and Nicco went above and beyond to ensure we had an authentic experience in Pienza, arranging activities and reservations at some of their local favorites, as well as with their family on their local farm. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Pienza with this lovely couple and their family and I hope to in the near future!
