Winery De Angelis

We were here for a group wine tasting. We had a lovely experience and the owner Francesco and host Fabio were amazing. We tried 3 separate wines (all local) and the owner was generous enough to bring out a specialty award winning wine as a final treat. 10/10!!!.

The wine is absolutely delicious! A wine for every occasion. We would recommend the 5+ wines experience. But what really made the experience was Fabio. He was so knowledgeable about the wine, so friendly and did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. Absolutely loved this experience.

Exceeded expectations. The wine was not only delicious, but the guide Fabio was knowledgeable, relaxed and welcoming. He is able to tailor the experience to each person's needs and answered every question we asked. It was a lovely honeymoon experience, thank you.

Had the best time doing a wine tasting. All the wines were absolutely amazing. We learned all about how all the different wines are made and the production. Really do recommend booking in. You won't regret it! 10/10. Delicious wine and also paired with amazing meats and cheeses to compliment all the wines.

Fantastic experience, with some really interesting insight into how the wine is made. A really authentic tour around the winery with the manager and owner of the business, two really friendly and welcoming gentlemen.

After the tour of the winery we all sat down as a big group and got to try 7 of the selected wines, with all of the back stories and facts behind each different wine. The selection of local food to go with the wine was also delicious and really made the experience.

Historical winery in Sorrento, is you are looking for authenticity that's the place. The owner, Francesco, is deeply attached the this hundreds years old business and aims to preserve the local tradition. I can say that after 2 hours of visit. Tried 7 wines and all the them were really good... Some unique.
We bought 3 wines at the end. It worths to be visited because the cordiality of the owner and his willingness to share information.

We enjoyed this wine tasting so much. It was fun, interesting and a great way to spend a few hours.
We tasted 7 wines and one right from the barrel that wasn’t bottled yet. They truly love what they do and it’s quite obvious in the way they talk and preserve the land, plants and winemaking process.
I cannot wait to come back and try the vintages that are waiting to be bottled. Looking forward to when they have a tasting space where the grapes are grown for a hillside tasting experience.
You will love the friendly atmosphere, delicious charcuterie boards and wonderful wines. An afternoon that will not disappoint.

If you Travel to Sorrento & don’t visit the only winery in Sorrento that produces the most beautiful wines from grapes from the region you have missed a great opportunity.
Valentina has a wonderful knowledge of the area,the grapes & wines produced & with the knowledge of the owner Francesco the both have a wonderful story to tell🙏

We had such a wonderful experience at De Angelis Winery. Rafaela and her husband were very warm and welcoming. We received a detailed history of the winery’s roots, family history, and it’s production process. All quite interesting and unique. Rafaela spent a great deal of time with us during the tasting, taking the time to carefully explain each wine and its origin. The bread, meat, cheese, and oils were a wonderful addition! The tour is done with a small group, ours included 5 people total. The winery is close to the city center, very easy to access. We highly recommend visiting the winery, as it helped to make our trip to Sorrento more informative and enjoyable. De Aneglis wine is found all throughout the city.

Had a wonderful evening meeting the owner of De Angelis winery. They were closed and we called that day and they opened for a tour. The wine was excellent (got a case to send back to Jersey!). They were so friendly. Really enjoyed. Was a great aperitivo before dinner!

did a wine tasting here and fabio and francesco did a FABULOUS job! they went into detail about the history of the wine cellar and what goes into making it. I would 100% recommend booking a tasting here if you’re on vacation - or at least stopping by and purchasing some wine.
