Martin was very nice and kind!

We ordered 2 espressos… and they were so good we had to ask him about the beans. Ended up getting fresh whole beans to take back with us to Thailand!

Best coffee on Modica, the granita is top notch and such friendly staff! Even came back in the evening and they put together an amazing espresso martini for us in the evening!

Casually stopped by Martin’s Cafe because we saw cold water and beer…not knowing we were in for a treat!

My husband ordered a Messina but he was encouraged to try an IPA from Ragusa. He liked it so much he ordered another one and we ended up staying for lunch.

He then recommended the ricotta granita with espresso (affogato) and I was in heavenly! The panino I ordered was light and refreshing with quality ingredients and drizzled with a beautiful olive oil. Highly recommend.

Martin was so kind and provided the best recommendations. He was even honest and suggested not to get certain items as they didn’t pair well with what we previously ordered.

You can also enjoy a beautiful view of the church while enjoying your drinks & meal.

The best coffee in South Sicily. I was looking for different options besides the traditional based drinks and Martin Café has them all. Very friendly staff and many specialty coffee options.

Great little cafe! Who I presume to be Martin, was very friendly. There’s a small selection of pastries, drinks, wine, and beer. The seating area outside has some wonderful views and there is also seating inside. There’s the option for hot chocolate with water or milk. I’ll always go milk! The chocolate croissant was also nice, can never go wrong with Nutella and fresh baked goods.

Great 3rd wave coffee, they have multiple quality beans and brewing options. I had a chemex brew, which is not easy to make and it was made perfectly. They also have traditional options if it's more your taste!

Great for all the specialty coffee lovers out there. A great surprise located in Modica Bassa.

The owner uses an EK43 as a single dosing grinder and has a XLVI / Steamhammer machine. He offers different specialty roasts by Marchettino. We tried Ethiopia, Rwanda and Costa Rica and they were all great as Doppios.

Highly recommended if you want something a bit more fruity than the typical dark-roast Italian espresso.
