This is the oldest chocolate factory in Sicily, from 1880. You can buy in the store many chocolate products and also make a factory and degustation tour. The factory visit and degustation tour is on payment (the cost is 8€) and it is required a reservation (better in advance as the available seats are usually sold out).

Cold chocolate and chocolate cannolo are simply divine! The taste is outstanding, with a wide range of flavors to choose from. The chocolate liquor adds a fabulous touch, making it truly special. A must-try for any chocolate lover! 🍫👌

Fabulous little shop! The staff there are super friendly and speak English! There are some free samples that you can try if you spend a couple minutes, or you can do a tour which is about 40 minutes but make sure you book at least 24 hours in advance. We didn’t so we weren’t able to do the tour. They make a really unique hot chocolate that’s pretty nice and the chocolate they sell is all super cool flavours and really nice!

Amazing chocolate and great customer service :) They gave us lots of tasters to try, and we bought a few bars of chocolate (vanilla chocolate was particularly delicious), some amazing local biscuits and a couple of cannoli (ricotta was the best).

The Chocolate Museum was closed for us this day, however we went to the chocolate laboratory and got introduced to the oldest chocolate in the world! The host was very knowledgable with telling us the rich history on these tasty chocolate. I would absolutely recommend coming here if you're coming to Sicily and you must meet the wonderful team. You can also setup a reservation to see what they do as well. Modica is a beautiful city.

After visiting a few chocolate shops in Modica, this felt like the most authentic.

The staff is very friendly and patient, letting us try a wide variety of chocolates and other sweets. The chocolate had a very unique flavor and texture (sugary crunchy). Absolutely worth the wait.

We also had the liquid chocolate drink, which was good but a bit too much cacao after all the tastings.

A truly unique place and a must visit for any foodie. Everything is well organized and the staff is both friendly and helpful. I loved the experience and the chocolate, of course! Good place to get some tasty souvenirs from

My brother begged us to come here and we weren't disappointed. The chocolate experience was well worth it, we found out all about the process of making chocolate in the traditional South American way, tasted some delicious samples and soaked in the atmosphere.. plus we got to see him have his "highlight of the holiday"

One of our highlights during our stay in Sicily. Outstandingly friendly staff that let us try a few chocolate bits before buying them and took their time with each customer. :) We bought a lot! Prices are totally fine.
We also had two cannoli and they were the best we had. We highly recommend the ricotta pistachio one. 🙌🏻

Ask for an "assaggio" to sample the various chocolates. Wonderful service. I'm not sure who was more excited about us sampling the chocolates, us or our host. She was very passionate about her products. Do not leave the Southeast of Sicily without stopping here. Worth the drive (as long as you like dark or semi-dark chocolate).

And the cannoli were great too!

Stopped here on a long drive from Trapani to Siracusa. Cute location in an alley, we arrived at 15.00 on a Wednesday, and there were two small lines of maybe 10 people total.

Found the QR code to scan the menu while we waited in line so we knew what we wanted to order by the time we got to the counter.

Not sure why people are saying it's so expensive? Most of their chocolate bars are between €2,50-€3. The shop across the street was €2 (least expensive we found) and others down the street were €4, so can't say I agree that it's expensive.

The chocolate cannoli was delicious, as was the cold chocolate drink! Pastries and cookies looked amazing, and many people were ordering deconstructed cannolis?! Shells and filling were packaged separately to make at home! So cool.

We didn't have enough time to purchase the tour, wish we could've! I do think reservation in advance is preferred.

There's a mini museum with information on the chocolate process. Lots of beautiful art and of course their chocolate! You can peek inside the kitchen and order some freddi or calda chocolate to drink. Their chocolate is a must try!

Best chocolate in Sicily. Friends brought some samples to Miami and it was delightful to sample them all. We wish we could get them in Miami

So refreshing in so many ways. Chocolate that has a subtle taste and not all fatty and sugary. Such passion in what they do and not interested in overcommercializing. A landmark. Keep up the good work.
