Hotel Tatsugaoka Fuji

The best part about this hotel was the onsen. The room was clean even though you could tell it was a bit dated. The restaurant downstairs serves very good yakiniku. There is a large supermarket nearby and a pharmacy. View of Mount Fuji from the room was a nice added bonus. Parking at the back of the hotel is available free of charge.

We got the room on the 3rd floor with Mt.Fuji view from our window which was fantastic.

The outdoor onsen was really relaxing and there weren't a lot of people (just 1-2 at a time) highly recommended to try.

The location is quiet and beautiful but quite a distance from the train station (about 900 metre), so if you have large suitcases (like we do) please be prepared.

Please be notified that Fuji Q highland express bus station (bus to and from Tokyo/Shinjuku) is 2 km away from the hotel, not the same place as Fuji-Q highland train station, so it is easier to get on/off the bus at Kawaguchiko station and travel to the hotel via train (1 station)

The staff were really friendly eventhough they speak limited amount of english, still try to help and understand whatever we requested.

Also they have 10% discount for hotel guest at the yakiniku restaurant in front of the hotel.

I love this hotel, from our room window, we can see a panorama view of Mt. Fuji in a close distance. Hotel environment is good, peaceful, quiet and clean. Enjoy their hot spring facilities. Good and big breakfast to choose between Japanese or Western breakfast. Overall, it's a pleasant staying in this hotel, highly recommended.

Really nice hotel.
About a 10-15 walk from FujiQ theme park. Staff speak enough English and there are also printed info in English. We got rooms with a view of Fuji- amazing. The rooms were a decent size with decent facilities. They also had Yukata for you to use and we even wore them to breakfast! They offer a Western or a Japanese breakfast- a good selection on your tray, but it’s not buffet style. Both were nice but the western had rather a lot of ketchup on the eggs.
Most of us didn’t use the spa (some of us shy, some of us a little drunk and one unfortunately with a tattoo which they don’t allow) but the person who did said it was lovely, though she couldn’t stay in for a long as it was very hot.
The restaurant on site was lovely too, it seemed a little expensive at first glance but definitely worth it in our opinion.

Still here and so far it's very nice. Tried my first onsen. Luckily for me I was on my own (3.45pm). The reception desk was very helpful with sorting out a vegan breakfast for my wife in the morning. Impressive room as well.

Amazing view of Mt Fuji from our side of the hotel, a yakiniku restaurant inside the complex, complementary breakfast (choice of Japanese or Western style breakfasts), clean and spacious room with a bed facing Mt Fuji. What more could ya ask for? I'd def stop by here if my journeys take me here again

My wife booked this hotel via agoda app on her iphone, maximum check in time is 09.00 pm, but because one and another thing we arrived at 09.30 at the hotel, and still can check in for our room

Good hotel with nice 24 hours small outdoor onsen. Looks quite old from outside but the room are very new and clean with reasonable price.
