Tea Square Neluwa

Nestled in a beautiful tea and cinnamon estate, Tea Square is the perfect spot to experience Sri Lanka high country. You will be part of the small estate community for a couple of days, who will welcome you with open arms. We have very fond memories of this place. Tea harvesting, mountain climbing, car ride with the owner, tea time with the watcher. Everyone knows each other on the tea estate, you’ll feel secured, welcomed, relaxed. How ones envisions retirement. Cooked by the caretaker, the food is delicious. Thank you for the perfect time 🌈

This place gives you the best experience you can get to have a relaxing holiday with family and friends. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms with a beautiful scenery all around the house. The mesmerizing 360 view you see from the bed it self of the area filled with wild and fog in the morning makes it one of the best mornings in your life. Recommend to any foreign or local tourists without any doubt. 😊👍

Прилетел с Мадагаскара на Шри-Ланку. По итогу попал в этом место и был шокирован его роскошностью. Всё на высшем уровне: люди, услуги, обстановка. Я был удивлён, когда увидел в качестве хозяина Кулихаевскую собаку, ведь мне этого так не хватало после приключений на Мадагаскаре. Всем советую!

I was been there with my friends. The owner offered a 10% discount for the stay. However, we were not informed that there was a water drought. There was no water and we waited till evening 7.00pm to have a bath and was arranged some more water in the buckets. Early morning we found very uncomfortable as the water problem was there and wasn’t able to do the daily routine.

Imagine after three hours travel, not even having a bath for 7 hours? And u paying 25,000 to use a bucket water for you morning routine?

To add more to what they did was. We asked the care taker to prepare the lunch when we arrive. We arrived at 1.00pm and the lunch was not ready.

The funny part is the care taker said that he was in the opinion that the lunch was needed on the day we leave. How can some one have lunch on the next day when the other day was booked by another group of people?? Its not a hotel, its a bungalow. 🤦🏻

So it took two hours to buy stuff and prepare the lunch. We had our lunch at 4.00pm (without having a bath)

It is common sense that the check in and out are for lunch to next day breakfast.
Two of our friends waited inside the bath room for a hour since the water stopped when they shower.

We asked to reduce the price but the owner charged the full amount and never bothered about the discomfort we experienced whole stay.

Never ever recommend the place for the inhumanity they showed to the guests.

It was our annual trip. No wonder 2020 was awful to start with. ❌
