SINHARAJA HOLIDAY BUNGALOW

It is a wonderful place for watching the bird life and experiencing life on a tea estate. The food is very good and the cooking lessons were a lot of fun. And there are so many more impressions, like visiting the school and tea factory. Thanks so much for being such great hosts. We really enjoyed staying with Daya and Priyanthi. See you again. The owner picked us up at our hotel at the beach and drove us to his house, where his wife had lunch ready. One day was spent going to waterfalls and one day going to a local tea factory and the national park nearby. It was like my daughter was staying with another set of grandparents. The bed was cozy, the food was delicious, the hosts were kind and the surroundings were spectacular. It was just what we needed in the middle of winter.

Beautiful place to stay to wake up amidst the singing birds. One of a kind hospitality. Water source nearby all to ourselves (a small waterfall kind of natural pool). Owner is an incredibly innovative entrepreneur. Tasty food and warm hospitality.

We had a relaxing and pleasant stay at Sinharaja Holiday Bungalow. Great hosts and yummy food. Really enjoyed the peace and tranquility.

Cadre magnifique et hôtes adorables ! Arrivés à l'improviste, Daya et Priyanthi se sont empressés de nous préparer la chambre. Tout au long de notre séjour, ils ont eu à cœur de nous faire découvrir leur propriété, leur Garden Tea et leurs épices. La cuisine de Priyanthi était vraiment excellente et fait au maximum avec des produits de leurs jardin. A tester absolument !
Nous étions dans la région pour trouver des espèces animales très présentes dans cette partie du Sinharâja et nos hôtes ont beaucoup fait pour nous aider, jusqu'à nous présenter un moine bouddhiste qui vit dans une zone très préservée et absolument pas touristique et qui nous a accompagné en forêt. Vraiment magique 🌟 🌟 🌟
