Pozas de las grutas tolantongo

My beautiful home state of Hidalgo. I truly appreciate being able to come home once in a while, and visit grutas Tolantogo. I have visited beautiful places, but nothing beats Tolantogo. Very affordable, and if you go during the week is not too crowded. Stayed overnight and was able to have it for myself very early in the morning.

Amazing experience!! My kids and I found this so enjoyable. Once in a life time experience for us. We would love to come back and do this again.

Beautiful and super clean

This place is amazing not only just the scenery/views and the amazing mountainside hot tubs but the people as well super friendly and hard working
Below you can go to the caves amazing experience including live bats and also zip line
Remember not to bring food or drink leave in your car and picnic riverside
You will need a full day to experience this place

》The Tolantongo grottos are a set of caves and grottos located in the municipality of Cardonal, in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico. It has a main cave in which water flows towards the Tolantongo river, and there is also a smaller tunnel, approximately 15 meters long.

The resort is made up of three hotel complexes and heated pools near the bottom of a steep box canyon that has walls as much as 500 meters high.

Its main attraction are two grottos at the canyon’s closed end, out of which flows a small volcanically-heated river which follows the canyon floor. The large grotto chamber is about half the size of a tennis court with a ceiling of up to ten metres.

Above the grotto is a “tunnel”, a small cavern 15 metres deep in which warm water showers those who venture inside. Around these two openings, warm waterfalls flow down the steep canyon walls. Here visitors can practice hiking, rappelling and spelunking.

Amazing, a must visit

Compared to Hawaii

El lugar cuenta con muchas pozas por lo que en temporada no vacacional es muy probable que puedas estar solo en ellas, cuando son fines de semana y vacaciones se llena el lugar pero aun así por las vistas vale la pena visitarlo, el costo de transporte de las pozas al río es de $10 por trayecto y empiezan a salir desde las 8:00am
En el lugar también existen restaurantes, baños y todas las amenidades necesarias.

Simplemente hermoso maravilloso lugar para descansar

La mejor experiencia, tiene un paisaje muy bonito, lo mejor de Tolantongo!

Esta limpio, el agua es perfecta es caliente y en ciertos momentos a temperatura ambiente, el lugar es muy hermoso con una vista espectacular, las pocitas son amplias para nadar o quedarte a disfrutar de ellas, todo es genial y no le encuentras ninguna falla, si quieres pasar un rato agradable o relajarte un rato este es el lugar indicado para hacerlo, les recomiendo tomarce muchas fotos y simplemente disfrutar, entrar a la cueva y meterse a la pocita que esta dentro de ella junto con un paseo en el puente todo queda perfecto.

Un lugar natural maravilloso para acampar o estar en uno de los dos hoteles que están en el río o las pozas.
Su belleza es sin igual, te pasarás uno o varios días relajados y en una zona relativamente segura para niños y adultos.
Los precios de comida y bebida son moderados.

Increíbles pozas casi de ensueño el agua está a una temperatura tal qué es difícil sentir la temperatura del agua con la del medio ambiente, muy limpias y hay muchas en algunos momentos (siempre y cuando no vayas en temporada alta) tienes una poza entera para ti solo.
A los huéspedes de los hoteles dentro del parte les permiten estar en las pozas hasta las 10pm 🤌🏼

Muy bonito lugar y una vista increíble, es muy amplio, en la parte de arriba están las pozas y la tiroleza, y abajo esta el río y la cascada.
En caso de no llevar auto, hay una combi que los lleva a la parte de abajo, porque esta un poco retirado de las pozas...

Muy bien cuidadas. El agua con un tono azul turquesa. Lo visité en mayo. No había tanta gente porque fui entre semana y no en periodo vacacional

Muy bonito lugar, increíble y el servicio por lo regular es excelente ideal para divertirse no tanto para relajarse, recomendable para ir tanto en familia como con amigos o tu pareja.
