This is a natural wonder. Breathtakingly beautiful and the water is so warm. 😍 There's quite a bit of walking involved but we'll worth every step.

A beautiful incredible place with several thermal water pools and caves. Nice hotels inside, stores and several places to eat. Food is great and affordable. Be ready to walk a lot many stairs and rough terrain. Worth it! There is people with ride cards to take you around for a few pesos not bad. The place is incredibly beautiful ❤

It was a pretty cool place to visit. The thermal hillside pools, river, waterfalls and cave are a sight to behold and an experience like nowhere else. Avoid going on the weekend, as it’s super busy. I went on a Monday and it was perfect. Bring cash! No card services at all. No wifi, but cell service is available. No TV. It’s a place to go and relax. They are building new hotels and there is lots of camping available on the various levels, including tent and gear rentals. The older parts of the location are starting to get a bit run down, but everything is still aok. The food/restaurants there are nothing special, but do the trick.

This was my group's favorite part of our trip! We did a tour from Mexico City through Airbnb, and had a great day full of surprises, exploring, and warm water. The caves are a must see, and the zip-line down to the river was also very scenic and pleasant.

The place it’s magical. However I wish I’d find more research before coming. If you don’t have a car you must travel to itxmiquilpan first to then catch the bus to the grutas. You can’t reserve the lodging in advance, it’s on first come first serve basis. They have rooms for all budgets, except the most affordable ones go out first. There’s also a camping by the river option.

The facilities are well maintained, there are shops an restaurants within the park.

The pozas were our favorite spot. The vies are amazing. The whole park, the natural formed weblike waterfall it’s breathtaking.
It’s with no doubt a place everyone should check out, I would definitely return. Thx

Thank goodness for photos for words almost can’t describe this place. If you can by any chance be in Mexico City or north of and are close enough to this place. You must go! Definitely recommend on all levels. The beauty is on a level of its own. The waters are a unique color and almost thermal in nature. It’s about a 2 hour drive north of Mexico City and there are buses etc that can get you there. I used an Airbnb experience where had a driver take me & couple others up there. It is an all day experience so plan for it accordingly. This place is huge and broken up into 2 big sections. You can also grill your own food there, camp, eat/drink on location.

This place is magical, the cave is beautiful, the river is so relaxing and the little pools (fosas) are breathtaking. I recommend a visit here. You will not want to leave.

Be prepared to walk a lot and climb many stairs. Take your water shoes. It is an awesome experience and I fully recommend it. The beauty is beyond words and the water falls are amazing.

Great place to visit, you must be prepared to walk and I recommend stay in the hotel, otherwise the rain might ruin your experience, also beware each meal per person is around 15 USD or 300 pesos

Still a great place to visit, no credit or debit cards only cash. But good place to be for single or two day trip. main issue might be the roads.overall a great experience

They don't have WiFi, that's the thing, other than that it's perfect!

Beautiful clean area, pools are warm. I'd say this side is the more relaxing area of grutas de Tolantongo.

It's better to take tent instead of rooms for good atmosphere.
