10 / 10 recommend

Many options to stay here. A hotel or camp. Simply pick a spot to camp and they will set it up for you. For an experience with less people avoid weekends, holidays and summer months.

The hot pools are amazing to rest, relax and recharge with stunning Mountain View’s.

The river was an absolutely beautiful sight to see. One of the coolest places in the world I’ve ever been

That’s not all there is a massive waterfall with a cave!!! Be adventurous and explore. Even get a massage with the water pouring down.

10/10 visit. It is a must see destination.

Incredible place! Stay the night; the drive back is dark and not safe to do if you’re not familiar with the route. The water could be warmer but the river is really nice. Bring good conditioner for after. Food at the restaurant by the river is nice and affordable.

Undoubtedly one of the best places I have visited in this planet, nature is amazing and the place is super relaxing. Somehow it is still a place under the radar. Food at the restaurants is limited, the hotel is quite nice with wonderful views.

I thought it was very crowded and unpleasant because of that but I love it here!👌

There are plenty of hotels, restaurants, bathrooms, pools and nice people. It's a little bit confusing at first but it's not that big so you get used to it pretty quick.

Restaurants offer good food for a great price. You can also buy your own liquor at a corner store.

Definitely worth it to bring your own water bag for the caves and the pools.

I recommend it a lot to relax or to have more fun 😁

Wow! What a cool experience! Stunning views. Enjoyed the thermal springs and exploring the caves. Our tour guide and driver were both excellent. A very memorable experience!

The drive to the location is a bit crazy. Lots of zig-zag roads and sharps turns. Be cautious. The view the entire time will be beautiful. Great warm natural waters! Adventurous swim in caves and awesome waterfalls that are stunning to look at. Clear water pools that are also warm. Lots of fun for the whole family. Hotel, restaurants, and changing rooms on site. Not very stroller accessible but could make do.

Amazing ... A-ma-zing!!! 🌊 👙 🌞 🌴
Recommendations:
Bring sunscreen, swimsuit, water shoes (very important) and water protector case (for phones and money) and water resistant flashlight. These items you can buy cheaper on the way to this place, if you buy them inside the price goes beyond twice the price.
Main attractions:
The cave: great experience, super hot and not so deep
The waterfall: surprisingly it's cold water hahaha be aware
The main spring: excellent scenery and hot water all around you, oh yeah!
The river: rest in the rocks while the flow massages your shoulders, get a mud mask to clean your skin, and yes the river is hot water as well.
The pools: you guessed it, hot water pools which can get too crowded at times so be early!

The downsides I've seen:
It's getting way too expensive and crowded, particularly lodging is a bit too much

One of the greatest tourist places in Mexico, easily accessible from Querétaro so kind of breakaway location for us. Kids love the hot water in the waterfalls and the river while the infinity pools are serene and worth the trouble. We have been there quite a few times now. Enjoy the food, stay and amazing views. Management is very efficient, jeeps the place clean always. This time we also got to see a Mexican raccoon from close proximity as it was near to the pools.

Amazing place! Did a day tour and got there earlier to avoid the crowd. Several places to eat and purchase swimwear/water gear. Saw folks camping. Would love to stay a few days when I return.

Magical place. The cave is like out of a movie.

The food is decent and the prices are fair.
Definitely go with a guide who can give you the best tips to enjoy your time there.

A great experience, the water is lovely and warm, the views from the pools are stunning. Having a swim in the warm water in the caves (grutas) is an experience worth having. The place gets really busy on the weekends!

It’s actually one of the most beautiful place I’ve been visiting in Mexico City, the beautiful view and nature is unbelievable, except it’s so far from the City, we took the private tour going there and it was almost 4-5h drive, but definitely worth it to visit here as a day trip,

I came down for my birthday and specifically for this experience! The beauty and the comfort did not disappoint! The pools are not all the same temperature so be prepared to love some and be unimpressed by others. The river was so beautiful and felt soooo good!

Really nice place ! Hit water all over the different pool areas : gruta as well as the "Rio"
Two nights at Paradisio escardo : hotel is well in term of access, but no windows for our room.

At first I thought pictures may be edited, but it's actually as stunning as photos. We went on a Trusday. It is a 4 hr drive from Mexico city and we arrived by 10am and it was perfectly empty. Crowd grew by 1pm.

The pools. The river. Both are gorgeous. The river is segmented up for camping grounds and I plan to return for camping.

Many food options and little shops also.

If you’re going to take one day tour, I’d recommend this relaxing & healing tour.

We took an Airbnb tour from Mexico City to the grutas, then to the river to experience the “healing mud”, and then onto natural caves. Tour took the whole day, it was a full 3/4 hr drive from the city center, but was very worth it.

Amazing place! I love that they made it all a park and I can bring my kids anywhere to swim. The pool, the grutas, the rapids it didn’t matter. The food was amazing. The park was clean with trash cans everywhere. My family will most definitely be coming back. None of us have ever experienced hot springs and it was well worth it.
