My favorite restaurant on Lanta. Great and very tasty food - just try the menu - also for vegetarians and vegans. Super friendly, very well organized service - all day with a smile.
Very crowded in the evening in the high season - please plan waiting time. No longer an insider tip, but still top prices and quality - or maybe that's why. Full recommendation!

The best restaurant I have ever visited! My boyfriend and I were really impressed of how good the food tasted. We came 3 times in 24h and will try to come back for another last meal before we have to leave. They have really good and many vegan/vegetarian options - our favorites are the massaman and panang curry with the fried tofu (too delicious). The stuff and the atmosphere is very nice and we just loved everything about this place. It’s amazing, how they can make this huge and delicious meals for this cheap and affordable price. We highly recommend it! Lots of love <3

Best restaurant on the island. We love it.
Food is so delicious and the prices are super affordable. If you ask me, they could easily raise the prices, they still would be fair for the food you get and the restaurant would still be packed.
For vegans/vegetarians there are many options. Make sure you try the fried tofu and the rice topped with paneang curry!

A definitely not to be missed meal if you are in Koh Lanta. The cooking is authentic and has great flavours! We ordered 8 dishes & all the dishes were so delicious even for a simple dish like stir fried vegetables.

Do go early to avoid the dinner crowd as there are not many seating. One of the best thai food we ever had! 💯

A must visit place if you are looking to find good local food. Prices are around 400-500 baht per dinner for two people. Been there couple times and both times food was perfect and service also!

Amazing vegetarian curries with the best fried tofu we had in Thailand so far!

They cut the tofu into tiny cubes and deep frie them like chicken nuggets. The curries are very flavourful, especially the Massaman curry. We ate/ordered there 3 times during our one week stay on Lanta.

Nice and friendly restaurant on the main road. Cost-to-quality ratio was really good for Ko Lanta. Food was definitely tasty, but not a reason to only eat here during your holiday as some appear to have done. Worth a visit, however. Be prepared for a short-medium wait if you’re visiting around 8 o’clock - you need a waiting number if you do.

This is hands down the BEST RESTAURANT on the island. We had chicken satay, stirfry chilli chicken, mango sticky rice, padthai and honestly I can say everything was the best I had in Thailand.
This is definitely a sure option and it is extremely cheap.

We absolutely loved our meal here. The Tofu LAAB salad was a special standout - fresh and well balanced. We also enjoyed the Massaman and Green Curry. Honestly great food for incredible value. It does get busy and we waited in a queue for 30 mins but was well worth the wait.

Edit. No. They do not understand gluten free. Using a gluten free sota sauce while panning the chicken in bread crumbs. Was very sick.

Fantastic place, tasty, cheap and always full. Service always great, smiling. Not always the fastest, but they are always very busy, so it's understandable. They understand the gluten free concept, they even have a gluten free soya sauce. Wholeheartedly recommend.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! We were so lucky that this restaurant was right next to our hotel so we ate there three times! The food is incredible and some of the best we’ve had after 2 weeks in Thailand. The ladies who run the restaurant are very warm and sweet. They already have lots of great reviews but I’ll add another 😊

If you are in the island of Koh Lanta, don’t miss out on breakfast, lunch or dinner here. Everything is so yummy 😋 Favourite dishes, sticky rice and mango 10/10, great shakes, club sambo, coffee. We tried lots on the menu & it was all yummy. Lovely people running this place too. Super prices for super food

Best food we had in Lanta and Thailand so far. We loved the shrimp Pad Thai and vegetable spring rolls the most. Sooo tasty and nicely served. Great service.

Delicious food, we tried the Massaman chicken curry, shrimp pad Thai and the Penang curry - all amazing and tastes authentic, really good flavours. The service was so quick, we booked ahead because we heard it gets busy and there was a queue of people waiting for a table. The only things I’d say is it was hard to get the waiters attention because they were constantly busy. The mango sticky rice was really good aswell and not too sweet, every dish was good! I’d come back for sure.

This place is always busy but it's worth the wait! I tried several dishes with the fried tofu and it was all delicious. I especially liked the Massaman curry and the garlic and pepper. The staff is super nice and the prices are more than decent.

We've been coming here since 2019 and being on the other side of the world right now, all we can do is dream about some food from Yawee. Everything we have ever tried has been always so good. The Massaman Curry with Crispy Chicken is probably the best dish I've ever had... followed by Green Curry with Crispy Chicken or Crispy Tofu. The Phanaeng Curry with beef is incredible (not as spicy as in Northern Thailand), as well as the Yawee Fried Chicken, which comes with such a flavorful sauce! Banana Pancakes are also great if you crave something sweet. As far as the drinks go, the Oreo Shake is a must as well as the Thai Iced Lemon Tea (in my opinion one of the best versions of it!). We really can't wait to return next year!! 😍

Best Thai restaurant!!!
We moved to Koh Lanta for 2 months (May and June) and we ate at Yawee for every dinner! The food is delicious, the staff is kind, efficient and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Best dishes: Pad Thai, Massaman, Crispy Chicken, Spring Rolls, Noodles, Mango and Passion Fruit Smoothie, Dessert with Banana fried.

You should try Yawee if you want to eat an amazing Thai meal!!

Very friendly staff and food was excellent. The spicy chicken wings were the best I’ve had in Thailand. Also recommend the fried Tofu salad

Amazing food, regularly saw lines out the door so thought we would check it out. The food was worth a short wait of appx 10min to get seated.

We got apps and mains, we didn't realise how big the portions were and we did struggle to finish them. Excellent atmosphere, flavoursome food.
