Pra-Ae Beach

This is a nice beach with a long stretch of beautiful sand. These photographs were taken in the early morning, so it's empty, and the place is all for you. It gets busy during the day, especially during sunset, where there are a lot of bars to sit from, and it enjoy the view. The demographic is mixed with young and old and families with kids. During the night, the beach is literally empty and quiet. There are massage places on the beach which is nice. It's a nice beach in my opinion to chill out.

Sailboats, sunsets, volleyball, music, and good snorkeling at the north end makes this an ideal holiday beach.

One of the best beaches in Koh Lanta in terms of location and facilities around. It is a very long strip of yellow grayish sand with pine trees. The trees provide shadow and create relaxing ambience. Water is clean and pleasant, there are no rocks underwater like on other beaches, the entrance to the sea is deep enough even during low tides. Not so many people as on khlong dao beach, which makes it more private and peaceful. However beware of many jellyfish! I counted more than 7 in a few meters distance. My Thai friends told me these jellyfish are dangerous. But I also saw them on other Koh Lanta beaches. I guess, it depends on a season, or they were just brought by a storm.

My favorite beach on Koh Lanta. Long stretch of sand walkable for several kilometers. Great restaurants along the way (Lyms has excellent Pad Thai and Cashew chicken). Perfect sun sets as well. A must see beach if you are visiting the island. This type of place makes you never want to leave!

Tolled Strand

Огромный пляж с очень широкой полосой песка. Очень плавно нарастает глубина. В отлив до глубины идти далеко.
Вода непрозрачная, но нет волн, отлично для детей.

Практически нет деревьев с тенью.

De très beau coucher soleil sur cette belle plage un peu capricieuses.
Pas trop recommandé pour les enfants de moins 6 ans selon moi.
Plage très longue de plus de 5km.
Très populaire beaucoup de petit restaurant en bord de plage, certaines fermer hors saison cependant.
