Peaceful and Everything Works!

I Stayed at The Tana Align Resort many times both Solo and with my love ones. This is a Great place to stay in Sairee Beach Area but still have peace and privacy. Never hear loud music from all the bars.
On top of that, everything works : Comfortable Bedding, Clean, Hot Water, Strong Shower, Electric and Breakfast.
Their staff are very helpful and friendly.

We have had very good experiences with the hotel. Besides, we did a diving course and it was the best decision to do it in this hotel. Johnny explained everything to us (of course with a lot of fun and humor) and Steve ran the course with us. His experience and professionalism made me feel very comfortable and, above all, very safe. He is very patient and explains everything very clearly and never loses his sense of humor, even though I was a complete beginner. I had a lot of fun with the course and I can only recommend them both and the Hotel

The staff is super helpful and their advice is sincere and spot on. Great hospitality , friendly staff that guided us to the right beaches per the weather .

We had an amazing experience here. The rooms were super comfy, well appointed & luxurious. We stayed in two rooms across 5 nights and I would rate both rooms 5*.

The only comment is the rooms are very dark once you draw the curtains( not enough lighting)

We also took Scuba diving classes here. Jonathan and Steve were Very professional and what we loved about the approach was it was tailored to our experience level ( novice), focus on safety and what’s the best for us.

Be prepared for a steep climb and many stairs to get to your room, as the hotel is built on a hill.

Food is ok . Access to Downtown Sairee is 10 min max, which has great eateries. The hotel also runs free shuttles. Overall highly recommend !

10/10 10000% recommend!!!! This has been the best stay in my entire life. This hotel is beautiful & SO clean! I loved my stay here. Pools are super clean, breakfast was great, rooms were spacious and just absolutely stunning. The service was amazing. Everyday I left they would clean the room and give fresh towels :) Beds were EXTREMELY comfortable, I’ve never slept better in a vacation than I have here!

Also, I had to wait for my taxi to leave at 7:30pm so they set up a room with AC for me to come and hang out in for the meantime. They went above and beyond my entire stay. Super happy! Thanks for everything, will definitely be back!

Good resort with lots of activities. Breakfast is really good, and the view is beautiful if you choose the right place. They offer many different trips and excursions, and while the view and location is pretty far away from the shore and town, they offer a Songthaew (a sort of cab) to go down to the town daily.

This is a beautiful resort in Koh Tao. It's up a hill, which makes that is has a marvellous view from the balcony of the room. Don't worry, they have a free transport at set times that will take you from town to the resort if you don't want to walk uphill. However, it's also only a 15min walk. They also have a service with golf carts which take you up to your room, as the rooms are also up the hill. There are two swimming pools, however one is always used for the dive shop in the resort. The other pool however is very nice and never busy. The staff is wonderfull, they'll help you with everything you need! We took the 7 AM ferry when we left and it was no problem to take us to the pier this early in the morning. They also made us a very nice take-away breakfast! In general: lovely resort with lovely staff.

The best place to stay on Koh Tao: near to Sairee Beach (10 min. per feet oder 24h Shuttle Service on demand), very quiet place just with sound of jungle. You can leave the buisy traffic and mass of people down at the beach behind you or start your own adventures e.g. diving, boattrip, rent a motorbike,...

The staff offers excellent and so friendly service all the time. The Front Desk is really special helpful, so kind and try to feel you welcome all the time.

For the perfect stay take a room with a private pool, they are marvelous, very big and next to the main building. The resort has many many stairs.

There is a small public pool with a bar/lounge and a second one for the diving school. If you like to dive take this one: Jonathan and Steve a perfect guides and teatcher. We did the open water with them.

One of the best Hotel I've ever been!

We had a really great time at Tarna. Cute Villas with beautiful view. Breakfast was ok, more fruits would be great. The staff is very polite and helpful, they arrange a ride to the village (10min walk) whenever needed.
We did the PADI OpenWater licence with Steve as an instructor. Absolutely best dive teacher of the whole island! We had such a good time and enjoyed every minute underwater with him! #Schulz

Hotel is really nice and well located (10mn driving from pier, 10mn walking/2mn driving from restaurants and nightlife).
Calm atmosphere, nice view, easy shuttle to pier or town.
Strengh of the place is however the scuba diving school. Hotel has a dedicated 3.5m deep pool to practice. Not sure I could have found a better place to do my Open Water certification. Johnny was the perfect teacher. humanly and technically skilled as well as really friendly and funny. I don't see how I could have had a better trainer.

Me and my partner have just completed our PADI Open Water Diver course with Steve who has been a great instructor throughout. The facilities are perfect for building your confidence before you get out in the Open Water and the equipment is in excellent condition. Jonny who is Dive Store Manager is very accommodating and was willing to work the course around our tight time frame to what worked best for us. Overall a top class dive school and I'd be sure to recommend.

As for the hotel, the staff have been great and the Villa Sea View Room was so spectacular we ended up extending our stay.

Rooms were amazingly cozy, almost felt like a personal holiday home with amazing view. Perfect getaway for couples who enjoy quiet time.
Very unique layout of rooms, where you would need to be fetched down. That being said, ferry service was fast and reliable. Reception was incredibly helpful, going the extra mile to make sure my stay was enjoyable. Restaurant food and breakfast did not disappoint. Definitely a bang for your buck.

Stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and did the open water diver certificate. The hotel staff is awesome and are very helpful. Breakfast was lovely.

Me and my girlfriend got set up with a dive instructor named Steeve, a guy in his 50's and a great professional. The way he explains everything is precise and he does not mind repeating stuff.

My girlfriend had quite alot issues with here sinuses (they are tighter than normal). Due to her handicap, we went quite slow on the lessons and it took a great chunk out of their time than what it would normally do, as she took quite some time to get familiar with equalizing pressure and get comfortable. The dive school adjusted the program just for us and were able to work around us being very time consuming. It's a little bit more expensive than the other dive schools on the island but damn it was worth it for us. It was great to get to know Steeve and he has got a warm personality and good heart.

Fantastic hotel. Rooms super nice and staff couldn’t be more helpful. Bit of a walk to the rooms depending on the one you book but is worth it, good breakfast too. Very well located and has a free shuttle that you can text anytime for collection it’s only 5 mins down the road to the main town. Fangtawn was so nice on reception and so helpful couldn’t do enough for us and was a great source of information for the island. (Not sure if I spelt her name correctly 🙈)

Best thing about this hotel was its staff as we were on a trip for a few weeks it was the best staff we encountered 👍

Had an amazing time at Tarna. The diving experience with Steven was perfect! He was just such a nice instructor and really made our day special. Can only recommend the Scuba Diving!

Had an absolutely amazing scuba diving experience! Jonathan (the instructor) took us to the best dive sites in Koh Tao and taught the PADI open water diver course in the best way possible. Equipment is brand new and there is ample space in the pool for the first confined water dives.
The hotel itself was immensely helpful in organizing transport etc. for the dives. All in all a wonderful experience, I would definitely recommend diving here.

Our entire trip was a fantastic experience. We booked a sea view room, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the view from our room was spectacular. The cozy atmosphere in the room made us feel right at home.

The resort itself is a hidden gem nestled in the hills, which adds to its charm. Some might say it is a bit secluded, it's completely worth it for the tranquility and stunning surroundings. What's great is that it's just a short ride or walk away from the bustling areas, so you get the best of both worlds. We had a memorable and relaxing stay at this resort, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet conveniently located retreat.

We also completed our PADI diving course which was arranged through the resort and it was an amazing experience. As a first-time diver, I was a tiny bit nervous, but our instructor Johnny, made sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire course. His expertise and friendly demeanour put us at ease, and we learned the necessary skills to become certified divers. I highly recommend this dive school for anyone looking to start their diving journey. Thanks to Johnny and the team, I'm now confident and excited to explore the underwater world!

We chose this hotel because of their dive center, and it was amazing!
We booked the PADI oven water course, and had the absolute pleasure of having Steve as our instructor. Besides of being a very experienced diver, he is a great educator! He is very patient and always makes sure to do it in the tempo that suites you.
We had an amazing stay! We will defintly come back!

The PADI 5 star shop at the Tarna Align is great! Very well equipped with high end and perfectly maintained gear. Jonathan is really great and got us set up on a couple fun dives during our stay at the Tarna Align. While we were already certified, we really appreciated that we were able to go out with an instructor that was focused just on us during the fun dives. We were certainly in safe hands. Highly recommend diving with Jonathan and the Tarna Align Dive Center!

A quiet resort inside the jungle. We are a couple on our honeymoon so we decide to go for the honeymoon suite. Which was entirely perfect. We even arrived very early and for us surprised they let us in at 7 am.

The breakfast was very good, not really a big variety but it's a resort and not a hotel so it is understandable.

We ate dinner at the resort restaurant with a view to the sunset, which was really amazing.

There are so many different pools in the resort, and really good decorations.

Moreover, since the resort it's quite far from the sairee beach there were free transportations from their to the resort and back. Really great service.

We heard pork from the distant woods which made really strong noises, but you can't actually control the jungle. So keep that in mind.

Fabulous hotel ,wonderful staff ,everyone was polite and helpful .it is up the hill but the shuttle service is so good it wasn't a problem .Great place to stay ,very close to all the nightlife and beach but not on top of it to be noisy .dive school great big funs up to Steve crane who really restored my confidence in diving again .
