Easy nice little 15/20min hike to the summit with stunning views of the island. The hike itself is easily doable in a skirt and flip flops, but probably safer for people to wear sandals.

I definitely recommend coming up here during good weather since the view is gorgeous.

Parking is 3min from the summit and the entree is 50 baht for the summit+freedom beach combined.

It is a beautiful place to see the sunrise. :) I love the viewpoint. You can listen to the sounds of nature and have a widened view over the sea.
You have to climb a little bit through the jungle, but it is easy to manage, also for non experienced people. After a 20 minute walk you are at the top and can enjoy the view. Take a good headlamp with you to see everything if you walk in the dark!
I would also recommend to wear good shoes so that you don’t get hurt🥾

BEAUTIFUL! the hike up was tiring because of the heat and its a hit of a scramble but overall worth every second. i went with some friends, we drove originally ti sharks bay and snorkelled then came to the lookout afterwards. Could be goated sunset spot. parking is available and is included in the park pass which is very cheap anyways. love this spot, it will always have a positive memory in my heart.

Beautiful view point. The climb is a bit rough but easily doable if you're somewhat in shape.

The entrance fee is 50 THB per person, and you can also visit freedom beach (included).

If you're close by, I definitely recommend coming here!

Definitely don't wear flipflops!!

Fun climb up, and a spectacular view. Took about 15 min but we were slow and I broke my flip flop, but well worth it.

The accent can be achieved in 10 min if your good at rock climbing. There are ropes to hold onto going up the big rocks and boulders, but definitely doable. The going down was the hardest so definitely take the appropriate footwear.

Nice small hike, you have to climb some parts so better to not have flip flops. Entry was 50 bth per person to access the viewpoint and you also have chair on Freedom Beach.

Completely worth the little hike and the entrance fee, the views even before the viewpoint are stunning with all kinds of blues and greens! The top is perfect for a snack and some pictures, then to the beaches and enjoy the rest of the day!

Great view on the end of the climb. The 50baht that are requested per people are justified.
I highly recommend to do it with sport shoes to simplify the climbing.
Morning visit is recommended following temperature & sun exposition on the climbing way.

Short hike but with a little climbing. Totally worth it. The view at the top is breathtaking. 😊 please make sure to take your trash or empty water bottles with you and not leave them on the top! ♻

Great viewpoint, well worth the short hike up.
Not a straight forward hike, you do kind of have to climb little bits but not difficult. They have put a rope leading to the top which helps.
The views from the top are beautiful and make the 50 baht entrance fee worth it, must not be missed if on the island

Unreal views from this viewpoint! A very hard climb, would definitely recommend wearing trainers. On arrival do not go to the first viewpoint if you are looking for the John-Suwan as this is a different viewpoint only a minute away and can be easily mistaken (It is also a very nice viewpoint with an easy climb).

Cost 100baht to visit, and worth it all, do not miss this spot, it's a rough climb. Bring proper shoes!
Astonishing view! The one you see on the pictures back home 😄

Super nice place and a nice view. You have to pay a small entry fee (50 Baht) but it’s totally worth it!
The way up is a bit challenging and you have to climb a bit. But it’s totally possible and not that difficult. The entry fee is also for freedom beach and the area around so you can go everywhere.

Amazing view. We got there quite early to see the sunrise, and were very happy with the decision. We payed 50 TBH each to get access, well worth the price. Bring your snorkeling gear, and the entry fee will also cover access to a couple of nice beaches.

The walk was done in maybe 15 minutes or so. However, the terrain is some times a bit steep, and you can use a rope to help yourself get up more easily. You can see an example in the attached video (at the very end).

Great views, 50 baht entry that gives you access to two beaches and this viewpoint. Takes about 20 min to climb up, make sure to wear trainers!

There is a 50 baht entrance fee to access the area, and it's important to note that the climb can be quite treacherous, especially during rainy weather. However, they have ropes in place to assist you in ascending safely. Once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with an amazing view. This little adventure offers a unique and exciting experience, making it worthwhile for those seeking stunning vistas and a sense of accomplishment.

Went by bike until reached the parking and ticket booth. The fee is 50 baht which includes parking. The way to the viewpoint was a little bit difficult but I could make it even in slippers. The view is amazing, it better to go in the morning around 9. There are not much people this time.
