Beautiful relaxing beach in Koh Lanta, lots of restaurants and beach bars all the way along… very chilled out atmosphere, amazing white sand and calm water. Be warned jellyfish do come up to shore and can be seen quite visibly throughout the day. If you are in the area I’d highly advise to visit this beach as it is a tranquil setting not to be missed out on and has the most beautiful sunsets.

Long Beach (Phra Ae Beach) is the most popular beach. It is about 5 kilometers long and almost all time very wide. I was there in high season (November 2022) many times an I can say it was never really crowded. There are many bars and restaurants along the beach, but in my opinion it is less commercialized than Sairee Beach in Koh Tao or Chaweng Beach in Koh Samui. I visited almost all beaches in Koh Lanta and I think this is generally the best beach: large, quite clean, not crowded and with good swimming options. I didn't see any showers there.

This is a long stretch of beautiful beach with many bars, restaurants and fantastic resorts. Fire shows that go from bar to bar after sundown and lots of different vibes depending on what you’re looking for. Perfect sunset view.

Wonderful for sunsets! So beautiful colors. The weather is clear and quiet in the morning, there are waves in the afternoon(end of March to April) and the weather is not so clear but still nice. Beach is very good for a walk , send is soft, no stones.

One of the most beautiful lanta beach. Long sandy beach, you can hit a little rubbish. Clean water, small waves, transparency depends on the state of the sea. A quiet beach ideal for relaxation, good restaurants nearby and massages overlooking the sea. In my opinion the most beautiful sunsets in Thailand!

A beautiful beach with cute little crabs(they run from you, don't worry) and nice sand and lovely waters. What I liked the most is that it's mostly just the beach and some restaurants and cafes; basically the beach is not occupied by sunbeds and there is no music from nearby bars. You can still find some places from where to buy a cocktail and sit on their sunbeds, but overall this it feels very relaxing.

Long stretch of beach with a wide strip of sand. Restuarants and hotels line the beach front. Absolutely stunning sunset. Clear water with calm waves. Gets deep quickly but can swim out a ling way and still see bottom. Not very much shade when sun comes over. Lots of instagram swings

Fantastic beach to stay. Quite long as the name says, so I really enjoyed the long walks along the beach. Also the sunset is incredible from any beach bar.

There are restaurants spread throughout the beach and some hotels but it did not feel crowded at all.

Damn good place. Just hold your shoes in hand and keep walking along the beach.
