we've been there on new years eve. the new menu was amazing, the meze, meats, drinks and music. easily a top place in town. good atmosphere and well done internal design, with a very unique look over the vast adjacent valley. very recommended. I will visit this place every time I'm in town 🫶

I went to find lunch and stumble upon this place. The food was pretty good.

Decided to bring my friend her as well. We had supper and chilled at the restaurant for a while.

The staff was really friendly and allowed us to stay late and enjoy our stay.

We enjoyed all the food and it was decently priced. You really do find value for your money while you are in Cappadocia.

Great food and quiet atmosphere here. We had an appetizer stuffed squash blossom flower and a main dish Lamb shank (tandir), stuffed mumbar (homemade sausage) and Sheet pan. For dessert we got Aside and Apricots in molases. All was tasty and nice looking.

Great afternoon with my friends. Had a delicious lamb shank and stuffed grape leaves. Amazing view with raki. Even had a fun karaoke afterwards. A lot of fun and great hosts.

What a cozy restaurant with a stunning and stress relieving view... An exceptional taste, a friendly and so welcoming team that has a great service. Loved this place !! It was a little late in the afternoon when we came to this place. There are 10 cute cats here. The view from the outdoor seating is breath taking. Loved the Ayran, I think they added a little soda water to it and it tastes amazing. Glad we stopped here. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

Food and drinks were all so good. Very accomodating service even though we weren’t speaking the same language. Everything was absolutely delicious and they were accomodating. Enjoyed the food and the view!!!

We stayed at Vita Cave Hotel and the manager recommended to visit that restaurant. Very friendly, easy and nice people who work there. The food wss great for my picky eater family. Options for vegetarians and won;t break your bank. THey did have life music and the view is awesome. If you are staying nearby it's absolutely great!

Really nice place with good, authentic food! We had köfte and kebab, two classics, and both were really nice! Very friendly staff too!

Delicious lamb shank perfectly prepared. Dried tomatoe and stuffed zucchini flowers amazing. Outside terrace seating is overlooking rock formations. Beautiful

DELICIOUS LOCAL CUISINE
I had dinner at Tandir Restaurant twice during my visit to Ortahisar. The food was beyond delicious. I highly recommend the lamb shank. It was prepared perfectly. There was no need for a knife, the meat falls off the bone. The setting of the restaurant overlooks the historic Ortahisar Kalesi. Its a perfect location for an unforgettable dining experience. You will not be disappointed.

You have to eat on the back deck. What a view. Food was great.
