The spot on google is slightly off. Best way to get the direction is just to walk towards ortahisar castle and you will see it right before getting to the entrance. It’s a simple family style restaurant with a nice view of the town. Plus a large wine cellar below with lots of selections. The cellar is a typical Cappadocia cave, very cool inside. The owner is very friendly. And he would help us call taxi back to Goreme after dinner (and the taxi driver is on meter, on google map, and very friendly as well).

We didn't even had time to make a photo of the food. It smelled brilliantly so we had to taste it as soon as it came. I recommend the chicken sautee. Amazing and warm, the prices are fair, the food is homemade. All in all a great place to eat.
The family also has a wine shop. You can choose one for your meal.

The best restaurant I have tried in Cappadocia, the couples are really really friendly, the gentleman will take you to visit their winery. That’s the treasure for this place!!!!

Amazing couples running the place…. You are served with so much love ,you just cannot miss this… they also have this amazing wine cellar where they host you… food is delicious and the dessert is to die for….

One of the highlights of our trip. The communication barrier didn’t matter at all as we used Google translate with no issue!
The food is fantastic and felt extremely authentic as it was cooked on the spot.
The wine cellar was the best experience we had here. Free wine tasting and you sit deep in a cave with the wines lined up in front. The man leading us through the tasting passed along the history of the cave along with the description of each wine. Seriously a 10/10 moment.

We came here for dinner and also did a wine tasting the next day. Both experiences were amazing. The food was so reasonably priced and delicious, and the service was fantastic the staff were all very friendly! The manti are a must order!
The wine tasting was in the cave underneath the restaurant and was a unique experience I would recommend anyone do when coming to the area, and the wine beautiful we ended up buying 2 bottles.

Beautiful family run restaurant with an exceptional view across the village. Delicious traditional menu with great wine and beer selection! We even did a wine tasting the next night for free in the 2000+ year old caves under the Roman era castle! Impressive stuff :)

Wonderful, family-run place with really good food. The maitre d speaks no English but is a dab hand with Google Translate. The veggie dishes are excellent. We thought it was the best place in Ortahisar and went twice. Very good value for food and wine.

6 of us arrived in Cappadocia in the evening and arrived here late. We were greeted with open arms and decided to share a large portion of the menu. The Menti (Turkish dumplings with yoghurt) are a must but everything was delicious. Very authentic food made by a family. It was extremely well priced too! They also own a cellar door downstairs in the caves (used as a winery in Roman times). We went back the next night and did a tasting before buying 2 bottles. Service again was amazing and the language barrier was overcome with voice translators and basic English. Come for food, the experience and the wine!

We did a wine tasting and had dinner from this lovely couple. They are very welcoming and let us try many different wines (some of which we also bought). The dinner was delicious and excellent price. The view from the terrace is also great. Definitely recommend.

Could not suggest more. Incredible wine, with unlimited choices. The owner was extremely helpful and kind and the location is unique and special. Absolutely wonderful!

Really cool place to stop by to taste Turkish wine and relax or buy a nice souvenir for friends and relatives. The wine shop takes place in a cave with a unique decor. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended to visit on your way back from the castle.

A very nice elderly couple running the Restaurant and the wine house, if you are looking for an authentic Kapadokya wine and wine tasting this is the place to go. The food is authentic Turkish house food and they are very guest friendly
