Kemeralti Restaurant

During our 4 night stay in Ortahisar we visited a number of restaurants and Kemeralti has been one of our absolute favourites! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. We thought the prices were very reasonable for the area compared to others and we would highly recommend it.

On a very rainy day, we stopped by Kemeralti and were welcomed very heartily. I was given a shawl and blanket because I was drenched by the rain. We had soup, chicken and testi kebab: the food was delicious! I recommend!!!

Fantastic food in a magical place. This was not just a meal but experience. If I ever come back, I will definitely do my best to visit this place again!

The food was amazing. This was the closest to the original Turkish food we tried on our whole trip . We had Adnan kebab and humus and both of them were absolutely fresh. The couple running the restaurant were also very sweet and spend time explaining us things and answering our questions. The kunefe in the end was the highlight of the day.

Came in for a quick lunch before heading up the castle. Super cute place with very comfortable chairs. The server was very helpful when I asked her about bus schedules to get back to goreme as I had walked here. I only had the halloumi salad, so can't comment on anything else, but man it was good! If you don't like a lot of dressing(it was a vinaigrette) maybe ask for it on the side. I however, was very happy with how it came. Was delicious.

Such a pleasant to find a restaurant with such a great staff! people around here really care and listen. Everything is well made and fresh! This won't be my last time to visit ❤❤🙏🏻 thank you to all the staff working there!

BEST BAKLAVA EVER.

I'm an American tourist and accidently found this place while looking for another restaurant. The food here is AMAZING. Get the Shephard's Salad and the Baklava at a minimum. It's the best baklava that I've ever had. I've tried dozens of places in the states, and Istanbul. While a few were close in deliciousness, this place edged them out a bit. The pan chicken whatever it's called was good too. It had kind of a neutral taste to it. Also loved their bread. I don't know if it's homemade or what, but it's great!

One more recommendation is to stay at Portal Cappadocia Cave Hotel too! The views are amazing and the rooms are incredible

We had some mezze and bread, Kayseri Ravioli and Testi Kebab, wine and beer. Food tasted very good and service was friendly and good! Will recommend.

A must for Cappadocia !!!
Authentic traditional and delicious Turkish meal served in a wonderful and comfortable setting. Our server was amazing and she went out of her way to help us choose among the many dishes offered.
After a week around Turkey, dinning at top fine restaurants in Istanbul, this one tops the list for our next trip to this amazing country.
Hope anyone reading this and visiting Kemeralti has a similar experience.

A wonderful woman came to us to can take a seat. It s a pretty place. The service is great. After trying almost the whole menu 🙈 we can finally say the food in turkey 🇹🇷 is really good. We have enjoyed everything here. Thank you.

For those fellow travellers from Europe I would highly recommend this place! Other places around mark their prices up quite a bit for tourists but not here. The staff are friendly and speak good English!

The food was yummy, meat juicy, and the tea refreshing. We had the tzatziki, hummus, aubergine, chicken kebab, and tea for both.

It made for a great meal between two, all for less than £10 😊

They also have Wi-Fi!

Great place to eat, stays open till late night. The lady here is amazing, food is delicious. Do try the mushroom dishes specially pasta.

I came to minik cafe restaurant with my girlfriend thanks to the suggestion of Osman.
We appreciate the authenticity of the food and the local style.
Unlike goreme the flavour that you can taste in this restaurant are really Turkish.
We suggest lentil soup, Adana kebab and chicken dishes. Also the dessert was really good.
We will come back!
