Gillman's Point

Gillmans point is part of the Kilimanjaro climb routes. You can access Gillmans point via Kibo Hut.
Access to Gillmans can be via Kibo route or via other routes that access Uhuru Peak.

We had a wonderful sunrise here after 5 days ascent (rongai route).
We didn't go further to Uhura. I had a strong stomach ache. So we watched the sunrise for half an hour and then decided to descent. It was perfect. No need to go to the (real) summit in pain.

Too high, too cold, hardest thing av done in my life. Can't stop here for even more than a minute or ull freeze. Very fulfilling to reach here coz mountain steepness eazes off

Any climber will exhausted before reaching Gilman's point

It is a very challengeable and high place, needs energy to get there.
