Exterior Pro Roofing

Exterior Pro recently put a new roof on our home. Jami Perry and her crew at Exterior Pro were very professional and worked around our crazy schedule as well. On the day of the re-roofing the team showed up bright and early and worked hard all day to get the roof done in one day. They were careful to check for nails after they were done. The crew left our yard clean and free from any nails or scrap materials and debris. The new roof looks great. Jami came by in the evening to be sure everything was done to our satisfaction. If you need a new roof, we highly recommend Exterior Pro.

As the director of Maintenance for a Catholic school, I am responsible for finding reliable and dependable contractors to service our needs. Exterior Pro Inc is one of our trusted contractors. We have been using them for 5+ years. Our relationship started with existing flat roof repair and has developed to a full roof replacement with the addition of new guttering. Roof had leaked for years due to poor workmanship from last contractor, issues were addressed and professionally corrected. The entire roof now has a good foundation with all new synthetic paper, ice and waterguard, vents, drip edge and O/C Oakridge Shingles. Jamie was great to work with and contacted me as they discovered issues. The men working were very polite, quick and thorough and the job site was left in excellent condition. I am recommending Aaron Perry and his company, Exterior Pro Roofing, Inc, for their work on our 1910 house in the Historic District of Vincennes, Indiana. The house has the old built-in box style guttering that overhangs out from the house at the eaves. The wood was coated with a tin/lead alloy called terne metal that was soldered together at the seams. It was assumed that the gutters would be repainted every few years. The cost to hire someone with equipment to repair and paint was more than I could afford over some years and finding someone who would do it correctly became less and less possible. Some contractors thought they were repairing the gutters, but the materials they used actually made them worse. So, our gutters finally began to fail a few years ago. I began exploring options outside the box. A friend told me about the product Duroplast, a tough plastic liner that he saw used on a job.

I learned about Exterior Pro Roofing from contacting the people who make and distribute DUROPLAST. Exterior Pro Roofing was very familiar with the material, and the company owner, Aaron Perry, invented and developed techniques for the specific use of duroplast on box gutters on older houses. I also liked their friendly responsiveness. They were willing to travel from Madison, Indiana to Vincennes. They projected the feeling that they were genuinely interested in my problem and eager to solve it and save historic homes. It concerned me that it took so long to get them to our house because they had a backlog of jobs. But I found no other company with their kind of expertise, so I waited. As long as the weather was dry, they were willing to work, even in the cold. They got our job done early in March.

Not all houses are candidates. They check each house before they bring a crew to be sure the job is doable and to be sure other work does not have to be completed before they do their job. If your house is a candidate, they estimate the material needed, give you a rough estimate and later email a final estimate, with the promise that they will try to go under the estimate if possible. In my case they did. The initial deposit that they requested to hold our place in line was reasonable.

The installation team worked in 12 hour shifts, basically from sun up to sun down. They were courteous, they had safety equipment to prevent injury from possible falls. They completed our gutters in two days. One thing we underestimated was how beautiful the final result turned out to be. They have a selection of colored trim that snaps on and covers the metal that anchors the material on the outer edge of the gutter. It fit our house beautifully. They did a job that was wonderful and well worth the money to hire experts like these. I no longer have to worry about my house, and I have a 20 year warranty. Spoke with Jamie at Exterior Pro on Wednesday to schedule an estimate for a new roof and and estimate to repair my damaged box gutters vs to replace them with regular gutters (assuming that replacing with regular gutters would be less expensive anyway). The day of the estimate (Friday) I got a message from Jamie stating that the Commercial side does the box gutters and they are too busy right now so the company was going to pass on my business.....umm, ok, thanks.

Called and talked to a lady here about getting roof repaired and was told they would come out and give me an estimate. Never heard anything at all back.
