Kintner House Inn

We really enjoyed our stay at Kintner House. Loved the decor. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable except for the beds being way too high. Breakfast was delicious especially the homemade blueberry pancakes. It’s located right on the edge of downtown. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Great front porch with lots of rocking chairs. Very laid-back relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely stay there again

Pretty cool place. Would stay again, but bring a ladder to get into bed. 😅 And I would not annoy the ghost that kept opening the wardrobe door after we hung our clothes in it. It stopped after I made him take the clothes out and hang them on the bathroom hook. Bonus…the breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty and made the room smell fabulous!

We travel often and stay in different hotels, however, this is by far one of the best Inn experiences we have had! We had plans to explore Indiana Caverns and needed a place to stay for the weekend. This place is absolutely lovely. Full of interesting history and most importantly, CLEAN! it was legit, squeaky clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be returning and checking out their other rooms.

Stayed here in a honeymoon suite with my wife the night we got married. The room was great and had everything we needed. The lady that greeted me when I checked in was very welcoming and gave me a tour of the whole house. There was only one other couple staying there at the time, so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Just stayed here for a girls weekend with aunts and my cousin- five of us in two rooms. The inn put an extra bed in one room- it was quite nice, not too small or narrow. Breakfast was really great- the day we checked in we asked if there’s be something for two vegetarians in our party and they whipped up a veggie quiche for the next morning! We very much enjoyed the coffee and cookies throughout the afternoon and evening. There is a comfy parlor where we are able to sit and chat and play cards. The house itself is really interesting and they do a nice job of showing its history. The owners and innkeepers were all hospitable and kind. It is right in the heart of Corydon’s Main Street area, with a coffee shop and restaurants and several vintage/antique stores. Also a short drive from Turtle Run vineyards (which has a fantastic spring-autumn concert series!). We loved it!

While going through some things I inherited from my mother's side of the family I found some really old photos of the Inn, and probably photos of my kintner family in the inn that are really really old. my great GMA Ann kintner had saved all the stuff but I never met her husband but I wonder if there is some family that would be interested in some of the photos

We arrived four hours early and they checked us In immediately. We received a tour of the inn with a very welcoming staff. With complementary snacks the only thing we had to pay for was the room. We dropped our things off after getting our keys and went to our very clean and spacious room and went out. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast itself was worth the money. The whole place gave us the “at home” feeling with a pretty view of Corydon. Our room had a beautiful fireplace a great spot for a romantic weekend.

The Kintner House Inn was absolutely exceptional. We have a Men’s Hiking group that travel to different locations bi-annually. We spent three nights at the Kintner House Inn. We couldn’t have chosen a better place! Dana, the cook and General Manager, was absolutely fantastic! Her breakfast, hospitality and knowledge of the surrounding area was wonderful. The rooms were super accommodating. This is the perfect “get away” location. Also, the nearby State Park 25 mile loop is awesome! We couldn’t have done it without the breakfast casseroles, french toast and fresh fruit. We will be back. Thank you. Hubert Y., Greenville, SC

I have continued to go to Corydon because it is quaint and historic. The Kitnner house takes you back to the Victorian era. Each room contains history. Most importantly I come back to see Dana the manager. She makes my vacation get a ways fabulous. Please spend some time with her, she brings the personality that I Makes the entire stay feel like home.

We had a delightful time at Kintner House. The room was very nice and the bed was fantastic.The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome.The food was great, but I gained three pounds during the stay! Easy walking distance to all the historic sites and a stone's throw from a great micro-brewery!

I loved this B&B. We only stayed one night, which was to short--my parents and i were on our way through to see the total eclipse in Kentucky. The reception we received was warm and welcoming and the accommodations were comfortable. As someone who appreciates historical architecture, I thought this place was perfect. I hope i have a chance to return to Corydon for a longer stay. I'll without a doubt choose Kintner House.

Excellent bed and breakfast. Comfortable. Quiet. Right within walking distance of everything in downtown Corydon. If Dana cooks your breakfast, you're in for a treat. Innkeeper Tammy graciously helped me with special request for a space heater. I will stay here again.

I stayed here the night before and the night after backpacking the Adventure Trail. It was perfect! Cool historic hotel, staff was incredibly accommodating, and my room, the Joe Zimmerman room, on the 3rd floor was adorable...Perfect for one person! The town of Corydon is also wonderful with several historical sites to visit. Would definitely recommend!

I had made a request for a chilled bottle of Brown County wine and a simple cheese tray be waiting for my wife and I upon arrival to help celebrate our 15 yr anniversary... 1st time I had ever made a request like that from a BnB and they got it perfectly right. Thanks so much for making our weekend that much more special.

The deep claw foot tub was perfect for a hot soaking on a cold cold night in January.

Just a wonderful B & B. The food is great and Alice is fantastic. The inn is full of history and you can request the room you want. My husband and I always stay in the Harrison room.

Its a hotel, in a huge beautiful old time old. So pretty on the inside and the outside. The staff are awsome.A the have a wonderful homemade breakfast the next morning, biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage and eggs anything you want. Well worth the money.

We spent our anniversary here, the William Henry Harrison room was very nice, breakfast was very good. Jessica and Ashley were both excellent !! We highly recommend this place!!

We spent two comfortable nights followed by tasty breakfasts. Building is historic and furnished with antiques.

Stayed at the Kintner House Inn 9/2020. Absolutely a wonderful time! Jessica was so nice and kind and knew all about the history of the Inn. I love history and the Kintner inn is so rich in history. I would recommend it to everyone!!!!!

The kintner house inn is located in corydon Indiana. It was so beautiful and quaint!! Like an old style hotel with so much character and not to mention the wonderful homecooked breakfast served in the morning!
