We chose A & H for replacement of our home’s A/C unit and had an excellent experience. Bill spent time with us to assess our needs & prepare an estimate. The installation team of Zach and Wyatt showed up on time, were courteous, knowledgeable and cleaned up thoroughly when the job was complete. We appreciated Bill’s follow-up call to make sure that we were pleased with the results. Great service and value.

A relative shared the annual check up with us, and from there it became us calling each time we had an issue with both our furnace and AC that we bought from another company. We are extremely happy with A&H. They always came immediately, fixed what needed fixing-until it got to the point where it was smarter to replace the unit than to keep fixing it! We bought our new unit from A&H, they ordered it immediately, a scheduled our installation as soon as it came in, showed up in time. Technicians and installers are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, trustworthy. We were referred to them, and now we will be doing the referrals to them!

AC went out on a hot summer night and Bill did a service call on Sunday morning, created a temporary fix to keep it going until we could replace. Replacement went smoothly. Service men were professional and trustworthy. We recommend A&H Air Conditioning & Heating.

Our AC went out Thursday night. They were able to come out 9:30 the next morning (Friday). The compressor was bad (need a new unit). They tried a hard start kit to try and revive the compressor and maybe nurse it through the season. It didn't work, so they removed it and didn't charge me for it. The tech had two room ACs and left them for us until we could get the system replaced. They got the parts in the following Wednesday and were able to install the new AC and furnace on the following Friday. The techs were courteous, showed up when scheduled and finished the job before 4 PM. The new system works great!

Thanks to Allen for spending time with us diagnosing the issues with our old system and helping us decide on the new unit we purchased. Big thanks to the install crew who were friendly and informative, installed the unit quickly and helped us set up our new thermostat. Also, want to thank the repair crews who helped us keep our old unit running through the years.

Company came highly recommended by a friend. I can see why. Bill's level of knowledge about the field is extensive and he provided good guidance about what would be best for my home's needs. The service was exceptional. The technicians were very courteous and professional. Timelines was great even with a couple of hiccups. One a cut finger and the other was acquiring the correct cooling unit for the furnace.really appreciated the prompt attention to our air conditioning problem. Easy to request a service. The technician, Brian, called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way which I always appreciate. He was quick to diagnose the issue and repair. He was informative when explaining the issue and left me with more knowledge to be able to troubleshoot things a little bit more on my own with any future issues. A&H responded quickly to our request for service. William was very polite and knowledgeable. In fact our dog, who normally barks at all delivery and service people, didn't have a problem with William.

I wanted to share my positive experience with A&H in Baldwin City. First, let me say that I am *not* the standard HVAC customer and my job was not easy, simple or straight forward. A&H could have passed on this job in favor of more traditional work such as selling new equipment, but they took the challenge head on and delivered exceptional service and support.

We purchased a home to remodel in the Baldwin City Area. Major project. Although relatively new (1984), it used some obsolete construction methods that we missed in the inspection process. The home was built on a grade and utilized under-slab ducting. When we noticed poor airflow and children's allergies acting up, we scoped the ducts and found near disintegrated and collapsed duct work which circulated dirt and mold through the house. When a plumbing leak occurred, the ducts filled with water. We knew we needed *major* work to reroute the airflow in the house.

This is where the quoting began. We quoted 6 (Yes SIX!) companies for the work. Local HVAC contractors, commercial contractors, Large Chain contractors and a custom sheet metal shop for good measure. Every one sent young techs who simply handed us a quote for new equipment and shrugged when we asked about duct work. Some quoted Mini-splits, which would have left our 4.5 Ton heat pump blowing only to 1/2 the house, which would have been far too much. One company we quoted even declined the work but asked if they could sell us a thermostat for coming out.

When Dan from A&H Showed up, it was a completely different story. He worked up the flow analysis of the house, inspected the equipment, we scoped the existing ducts and he spent almost 2 hours going over different options. We ended up deciding on extensive sheet metal work, rerouting half the hair to a plenum in the attic with downshoots to each of the upstairs rooms. Of course this required ductwork in the main hallway, but they made it look nice and a good place to hang children's artwork (Pictured). We were able to utilize existing equipment, fixed the airflow and ended up filling the existing ducts with concrete. 8 months later, we stayed warm and toasty in all rooms even during a cold snap!

A&H Saw a problem and did hard work when other companies declined or tried to sell equipment that would not have solved my problem. Far as I am concerned, they are the only HVAC contractor I will be using going forward.

We can not express how much we appreciate the service A&H has given us. We had this dream of our commercial space and industrial duct work and from the very beginning we had amazing communication! We so appreciate Chris stopping by multiple times to ease our minds and figure out the entire layout and things. The owner also stopped by and all the techs working were awesome! I have never had such a great experience. All of them were helpful, knowledgeable, laughed and talked with us and handled our many questions. The hottest summer in a long time and our a/c quit. We called A&H and they came right out. After diagnosing the problem we decided to replace the unit with new. In the interim A & H brought out loaner window units so we could stay in our home while they did the work. Very professional and we are very happy with the work they did and equipment they supplied. We highly recommend A & H.
