Kwik Shop

Pumps worked fine and it took my Dillon's points, despite a somewhat confusing sign to the contrary. The other reviews older than mine might have been posted when some maintenance was required; the problem mentioned in them was not present when I got here.

The restroom had no toilet paper and I had to grab paper towels instead. Glad I checked first! No one's perfect, but both of the dispensers were empty, which suggests someone hadn't checked them in a good while.

I like it as much as anyone could like a Convenience store. Great selection, but as all shops of its type, it is overpriced.

Great friendly service.

The one gas station in a small town. Frequently overwhelmed with customers for gas and convenience.

It's the only gas station. So how can u beat that...

Came out of my way because I have Kroger points to cash in. Found the gas prices to be $0.30 a gallon higher than the surrounding areas. Also no free air as in most Kroger locations. Looks like a new store clean but the prices are outrageous. If I wasn't Running on Fumes when I got here I would have passed it by and let my rewards go to waste rather than purchase from this highway robbery place. Looks like this is the only convenience store and gas station in this one-horse town and they're charging accordingly. If you must use your Kroger, points go to Topeka and avoid this place.

Well the surrounding areas for regular fuel I have been recording for Waze consistently 2.39 a gallon here it is 2.67.

The pumps are SLOW!! half the time the Dillons card will not read and I have to put in a phone number to get the .02 off per gal. Any more I just get gas close to my work. I have been in to get a quick egg cheese sandwich. twice out of five times it has been cold, Not warm cold. Had I known I would have put it in the microwave. Sad it is the only shop in town. When the computers are off line you are stuck. I understand another gas station can not go in unless they build from scratch at another location from where Kwik shop moved from. I have been in to get coffee at 6:30 am. You would think plenty of coffee would be made. Nope House coffee was out. Guess the locals are stuck with what we have. Good thing is something is better than nothing. We could have no gas station at all.

I keep trying to give them a chance. Last straw. Nothing ever seems to work. Either the Dillon card readers are broke, the credit card readers are broke, the pumps are broke, or they're out of gas. I've never encountered the amount of problems at any other Kwik Shop. Its absolutely ridiculous & frustrating. Don't go. Go to any gas station but this one.
Kwik Shop corporate, I hope you're reading this & know how much this town loathes this station with all its problems. Get your act together.

This store has always been a convenient location to purchase gas and snacks when visiting my home town.

Stopping today I was pleased to see most of the customers entering and exiting the store were wearing masks as mandated by state regulations. Most of the employees were also abiding by the rule.

I was sorely disappointed to see a man behind the counter working showing disregard for the rule and the health of his customers by not wearing a mask. This in spite of the mask requirement being clearly stated on a sign at the entrance.

Had I not witnessed this I would have given the store a much higher rating.

My fiancé and I always stop here to get worms on our way out to fish. This time we were going to get worms and gas. The pump gave us the option to pump and then pay inside which is what we had wanted to do so we could fill up and not have to prepay or pay at the pump because it always takes $100 out of my account and I have gotten stranded due to this. We were trying to pump gas and the lady came out and was very nasty with us about having to either prepay inside or with a card and I explained to her why we didn’t want to do either of these. She proceeded to get even nastier and eventually walked away without even saying anything, not even an apology. There’s many other gas stations that let you pump and pay inside afterwards. I went inside to get worms because we had no other option to get worms and instead of helping me at the other register, which she was working, she gave me a dirty look and walked away. We will not be going back there.

Don't come here if you want gas. It's the only station in town, and the pumps are run about 1/2 gallon a minute. If you need to fill up, hope you've got 30 minutes to wait. You're better off going to Edgerton or Lawrence.

If you cannot enforce the mask mandate by Douglas county please post it here so I will not come into your place anymore. Half the people did not have a mask on. I will definitely be letting corporate know!

Drove tractor to get fill up with off road diesel . They Wouldn't let me fill directly into tractor . Had to fill cans then put into tractor. Our family won't return to these guys again
