Dave Wright Family Dog Park

It was clean and the people that were there ( in the small dog pen) were great people who actually watched their dogs. I wish the big dog pen wasn't behind the small ones because they have to walk down the whole side of the small dog pen and there is chaos every time.

Visited this park today. Has a small dog area and a large dog area. Very clean and today it was not very busy so our Annie has no one to play with. Lots of bike riders on the trails. I’ll come back. I like the fact they have restrooms at the entrance.

Dave Wright Family Dog Park brings me so much joy! I love to see my dogs run freely with other dogs! The happiness that it brings to my dogs is priceless! Watching all the dogs have their best life is so fun to watch!

We love this dog park! Very nice area for small dogs.

This place is pretty great. Nice enclosed area for your pups to run and play that's right off the Cedar Valley Nature Trail, in Hiawatha. Convenient, and nicely gated area with dedicated area to unleash your dog and get them ready to play! Our Bentley absolutely loved it, met lots of new friends and is sufficiently dirty/exhausted from her first time there.

Good place to go for dogs and people to socialize. Good sized park for dogs to run in with a ramp, bar, and platforms for dogs to practice agility on. Decent amount of shade trees even after the 2020 derecho. The park is right off of the cedar valley nature trail, and there is also a trail within the dog park for off leash walking with your pups.

To separate enclosed areas for dogs to run around in...both with benches for owners to sit while watching their dogs

We always have a good time here. Lots of dogs to interact with, and the people are understanding of dogs who may jump in excitement on people,

Nice, big area for dogs to run around, and even has equipment for training and playing. Steps, adjustable "limbo" bars, and a ramp. A small area before the large area is for small dogs, or for training. Both are free to enter. 4 benches to rest on and chat with other pet parents/guardians.

Some general courtesies to keep in mind...

-Please try to pick up any pet waste. There are 2-3 waste receptacles around. As well as, bags if you don't happen to have any.

-Please only bring in water, and training treats, for the puppers. Unfortunately, there are no in-park water sources there. We have to bring our own.

-If any dog is aggressive, please leave immediately. As to not escalate things further. Even if your dog may not be involved at all. Let's keep our pet kids, and their pawrents, safe!

-Watch out for holes that dogs may dig! I fell in one yesterday(5/19)! Luckily, I only got a scrape.

Great medium small dog park. Nice area to take the dogs and run some energy off of them. Great location right next to the cedar valley nature trail.

What a hidden gem we found on our Google map. We weren't even looking for a dog park but saw it as we were driving to another destination we went back to explore and we'll be going back there with the dogs real soon very nice park very simple very nice and clean the citizens that use it appear to respect it and clean up after themselves

Park is back after Derecho cleanup. Two fenced in areas for large and small dogs with plenty of agility training stations in both to keep both dog and owner entertained.

Super nice park with separate areas for small dogs and large doggos. My dog had a lot of fun!

Great space with segregated dog parks for small and big dogs, which is a wonderful idea.

Good size place with a small, dirt track for you to walk around. People do a really good job of picking up their messes too which is nice.

We were happy to find this most hidden dog park. Very pleasant for pet and human!

We love this dog park. It has some shade and not to big .

Like the big dog little dog division. Both were in great shape and clean. Lots of poop stations.
