Always a pleasant shopping experience. I really don’t think any other stores in the area can compare. This is a perfect place to buy a baby gift or any gift really.
I know the clothing I buy here will last for years.
I get compliments on the shoes and clothes all the time.

I just spent a fantastic morning at the Cedar Rapids store with my mother. The service is unparalleled. They were short staffed in the women’s and the clerk that was covering usually works men’s. She was so fantastic and helpful. Wish I remembered her name. Such a fabulous experience and will always choose VM!!! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

I have been shopping at various von MAR stores for many years. I can't say that I've ever had a bad experience. Sometimes I love just walking through the store and looking at merchandise even when I have no intention to buy. They have such a great variety of items that I wouldn't even think to look for at other stores. Online shopping is really great too. I recently went through the entirety of their clearance items on the website. I was able to bag several great buys and the store had them ready for pickup within a couple of hours.

I’m 56 years old, my step daughter is 32, and my 4 daughters range in age from 28-23. I’ve been shopping in Von Maur since the late 80’s and it’s my “go to” store first for almost everything! I have employees who call me by name and have for over 30 years! Lindale is my main store: I have Deb in Infants, Jenny in Shoes and they’ve been helping me since the Westdale store was open! Imagine my surprise when you start a loyalty program for charge customers ONLY!! You’re penalizing loyal customers who choose to pay cash or debit card! I dare you to ask Deb and Jenny how many times they have assisted me over the years! I know have 9 grandchildren that shop VonMaur for…I’m currently sitting in gift wrap typing this…I’m sorely disappointed and since this is so disheartening to me will be giving serious consideration to shopping Dillards, Macy’s, Nordstrom, etc…you don’t want to reward my loyalty, I no longer feel it necessary to continue to support you.

Easy in, good selection. Exactly the right gift for my wife and gift wrapped.

My husband and I recently visited to purchase some semi-formal attire for an event we will be attending. The staff here were extremely helpful! A really nice lady and a gentleman in the dress and suit area had helped us find something nice, find the right fit, steam the suit, and they just had the perfect personality for the jobs they had. We had a great experience and will certainly be back for any of our formal clothing needs in the future!

We had a wonderful experience in the lingerie department with Bev, she is simply amazing. She does her job with grace and humility. We took our Aunt in for a fitting. Bev took the time to make her feel comfortable and confident. She went above my expectations and is just one of those good people that love their job, love helping people and it really showed for us today. I appreciate Bev and the experience we had with her at Von Maur. Thank you Bev!

Von Maur is a high-end department store, and the shopping experience here is always a premium one. Soothing live piano music, excellent customer service, and quality clothing make for a great visit. They have really expanded their gift and home section to include some beautiful items! It is worth noting that you should be prepared to pay the higher retail prices expected at such an establishment. But given the experience, it is worth keeping in business with my business! Not to mention there are few (if any?) comparable choices in Cedar Rapids.

The interaction we had with the lady as we were checking out as I was discussing my preteen made the trip feel relatable. Then when we had something wrapped, it was done in no time. Great customer service.

Wonderful store and the associates are always very knowledgeable and helpful. The selection that they have is very broad and you can find anything for any age. The nice thing about Von Maur is that you can find the high end and low end of your budget with good options and high quality items at each end. The store has a lot of items in a small space, but the layout makes it all work. The piano playing while you shop during parts of the year is a wonderful added bonus!

Our last real Department store. I love Von Maur. Have since it first opened, still so. They carry the best merchandise, quality at good prices. They stand behind their merchandise. The staff are very helpful in choosing quality items that look great, & will wrinkle their nose if it isn't really me. I value their honest help more than I can express. Thank you Von Maur, for always being there.

Great place to shop! My daughter and I went to the jewelry dept and the associate helped us all through the store even though it wasn't her area she was a manager I believe and did an awesome job wish I remembered her name i will definitely be going back to her again. I would definitely recommend going to von maur to anyone visiting the cedar rapids mall!

I had no idea what to buy for a birthday gift. Once I decided on what I should get, the associate was great with showing my many options. Associate was smiling and efficient.
