Fireside pub & steakhouse

My husband took his coworkers (and wives) out for dinner here and we can't say enough great things about the place! The all you can eat fish was fantastic and salad bar had lots of options! I ordered their pizza and it too was delicious made from scratch! The wait staff was on top of it especially with us being a larger group! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, relaxing atmosphere and great wait staff!

The food was amazing!! I had smoked wings & they were perfect. Combine that with the sparkling personality of the bartender it was an amazing experience! Great way to break up my commute!! I will for sure be back!

First, the restaurant is located in Manchester, IA. Second, bang for the buck, you'll be hard pressed to beat it in the area (40-50 miles in any direction). Fireside Pub & Steakhouse offers good quality food at a fair price. It's as close as you'll get to a big town experience in a small town. Service was good, restaurant was clean and the bathrooms we're clean. Have been here many times with the family and we love it. Give it a try.

I love eatting there. It has good food. Good service and the owner is a great person. If u don't like the food or its done wrong she is willing to fix the problem. The food is all made fresh. None for the veggies are frozen

My mother had her wedding reception here a few weeks ago. The food (especially the steak), service, and venue were wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the Manchester area looking for a reception or rehearsal dinner location!

Very nice restaurant with some excellent homemade selections. Steak, pasta, sandwiches, salads are all very fresh. The wild mushroom primavera is excellent, and they also have a great Reuben sandwich. Looking forward to trying their homemade pizza!

I have been here a couple times in the past several months and had excellent food and service both times. I was VERY impressed by all of the made-from-scratch menu options that are available, from all of the homemade goodies on the salad bar (croutons are fresh and mouth-watering, their potato salad, coleslaw and cold pasta salads are amazing & obviously homemade fresh) to the gourmet pasta I ordered, which was every bit as mouth-watering as the menu describes: Wild Mushroom Primavera -
Shiitake, Portobelo and Crimini mushrooms sautéed with peppers and onions. In a garlic Port wine cream sauce. This is sooooo good!!! Coming from a town that's MUCH larger than Manchester (Dubuque) I can confidently say that there are not ANY options in Dubuque with this many fresh, tasty choices on the menu for these incredible prices. There were TONS of delicious, fresh (expensive and hard to find!) mushrooms & peppers in my meal - complete with fresh-shaved parmesan on top. I'd planned on saving half of the large portion like I did the first time, but devoured it all this time because it was SO yummy and I hadn't eaten breakfast!! :) I was so full all day that I didn't even eat supper. This gem is NOT your run-of-the-mill Texas Roadhouse or Applebee's where everything tastes the same because it comes out of the bag/box off the SYSCO truck. If you appreciate high quality, fresh food and a dining experience in a lovely & cozy, semi-formal atmosphere, this is your place!! :D

Great burger, fried pork tenderloin, BLT and philly. Trixie Stix are fantastic and the fried donuts with raspberry sauce are addictive. Would definitely return if back this way and will highly recommend to anyone coming near Manchester.

It was our first time stopping, we enjoyed every minute of it! Great atmosphere and great food. The Peanut Butter Pie was excellent. Will definitely go back!

Excellent restaurant, my family and I had a very good meal. I would ignore the bad reviews people need to understand that this is a small town that cannot over staff a restaurant on a typically slow night I would go there anytime

I've been eating at Fireside for years, and the food has always been great! The service is friendly and quick when we come there. If you are looking for great food and friendly staff, Fireside is the place to be! Definitely will be back soon!

Stopped in for a late lunch and it wasn't crowded. We were greeted by a great waitress and the fservice, food, and coffee were excellent! GREAT burgers!

I was so upset with how good the food and service was. I was wanting to wait a long time and not enjoy my meal but instead it came in a timely fashion and tasted amazing.

Awesome facility, owner operator, awesome food. I recommend the Porker or Smoked Brisket sandwiches. Anytime I get close I go out of my way to eat here!

Delicious food and awesome staff. Been there multiple times in a row now and I plan on going there for dinner every night I'm in town here.

Best steaks in town. Most friendly service and very clean establishment. Highly recommend everyone to go there and give it a try!!!! Very pleased :)

Great food, great staff, and great atmosphere. Prices are little on the high side, but in this case worth it.

Try the BBQ, she does her own smoking in the back and its outstanding, wood fired pizzas too!

Wonderful food with amazing service a must go when in town looking for a great meal.
