Eddie's Restaurant

This was my first time in this Family Restaurant since my father passed away. The waitress was friendly and polite, approachable and she remembered my father. The food was hot and fresh, delicious plus comforting. We'll be back very soon!!!! My husband said so.

We were passing through and found this great little diner. Excellent real home cooked food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. We will definitely go back when in the area! Popular with the locals for home cooked food as we were in mid morning on a Friday and they were packed! Waitresses were very attentive and food was served promptly even with them being so busy!

My husband and I ate dinner here Saturday night. We both had the black gold steak, homemade mashed potatoes with gravy , rolls and salad.its was cooked to order -rare and seasoned well. The mashed potatoes and gravy yummy. We had a delicious dinner.

This is a classic, old truckstop restaurant with spectacular service and very good food. I highly recommend anything from their breakfast menu!

If you are looking for good food, in a friendly place, then this is the place for you. Lots of locals, and usually lots of cars and trucks here. Food is comfort country food. Would recommend this little small town gem.

We dine at Eddie's often. The Fish are great and the Veal Parm. On Tuesday can't be beat. The service is excellent and there is plenty of parking.

If you are in the area, worth the visit, food was excellent, Service was great. Fresh, warm pumpkin pie.

One of the last diner spots in the County. Good food served fast at an affordable price.

We just love small town diners! They offer the best of everything. Food is always good and portion sizes are too. Service is always better than franchise restaurants and the folks at the other tables are friendlier.

Whoever makes the homemade bread must have come from heaven. It is always so fluffy and wonderful. The food is amazing and never lets you down.

My kids really enjoyed alot and staff also nice, supportive. All the rides are safe for kids and especially zip lines like by all kids

It's not every day a food establishment lodges itself into your soul. It was a last hurrah of the summer- my four friends and I - a road trip to our friend's house in New York. After a weekend of waterfall swims, guitar playing around the fire, and late nights at the local beer garden, the reality of returning to our different colleges set in on our drive home. Melancholy seems to always follow joy, as surely as thunder follows lightning. Driving back we stumbled across Eddie's, humble and welcoming to five strangers. Stepping in felt like we entered an episode of Twin Peaks, the restaurant homey and filled with locals. We gorged ourselves on gravy slathered roast beef, onion rings, and pancakes, eventually managing to stuff in the most heavenly apple crumble pie you can imagine. Our waitress was one of the sweetest girls we had ever met (who's name I wish I could remember to acknowledge her), leading us to tip more than we ever had for any service worker in the past. Eddie's ghost looked upon us as we stumbled out of the restaurant, stomachs full of hearty food and hearts intoxicated with joy. Driving home with the sunset dripping orange over the trees it didn't seem so bad that we may not see one another for quite some time. We'd meet again soon enough, and our time at Eddie's would be with us forever. If you have a melancholy in need of healing, give Eddie's a try. Five stars.

Walking in, it looks like a normal diner. Don't let that fool you. The hidden gem is the food, good sized portions for a reasonable price. Great flavor, and a very short wait. The waitress was very friendly, treated us like we were regulars, it was our first time there.
But now we come to the downside, a very minor downside. The omelette I ordered was a little over done. But the flavor was mostly on point, except now and then I got the scorched egg flavor, but over all a great dinning experience. 5 stars all the way. (As I said minor, didn't detract from the overall experience.)

Pleasant atmosphere and a wonderful staff. Our server was very nice and informative. The food was delicious and kid friendly. Recommend you stop and try if you're in the area.

Good service, cute place, and decent enough comfort food. It didn't blow me out of the water by any stretch, but it ticked all of my boxes for a nice quick meal. I personally had the chicken and biscuits.

We try to stop here every time we are near the area. Real home cooking...real food. Homemade mashed potatoes. Great hot chicken and roast beef sandwiches. They make their own desserts. Every day there are "specials" to choose from. This is where the locals eat. Anytime I am near Eddie's...I am stopping!!!

I absolutely love eating here. I grew up in Mansfield and have been away for several years. Went to eat here with my mom when I was up visiting. I can't wait to move back here.

Great coffee, great atmosphere, clean, friendly, courteous staff, and good food. Prices are very reasonable. A must stop in if in the area even if it's just for a cup of coffee.
Order the bacon burger or chicken and biscuits, you won't be sorry ;-).
