Swing at Lykens Valley

I am traveling out of state on business and decided to stop in at Swing at Lykens Valley. I played a few rounds of golf before working up an appetite. I was seated at the patio which overlooked the green. It was picturesque. I ordered the House Salad and it was spectacular. The wait staff were very helpful. My waiter, Gabriel was fantastic. He was able to tempt me into ordering fried pickles and the chocolate lava cake! Would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through the area.

I had an amazing time and the food was excellent. The staff extremely friendly, professional and treated this transgender women in an awesome way . I would rate this a five star dinning experience. I am a professional chef with decades of experience . In my professional view its equal to the finest Golf Clubs in America!

Friendly Staff , fast service, great atmosphere and food

Nice, attentive servers and good food. We had dinner on the patio which is very nice with views of the golf course. The crab cakes are excellent! Worth a drive on a nice day for lunch or dinner. Owner or manager stopped by the tables to check on guests and was friendly. They do take reservations. They do have live music and craft beer (pretty big selection)
The host seemed annoyed that we wanted to sit on the patio (though we had reservations for the patio and it was not busy at all) and she had the personality of a rock , never even smiled, seemed confused. We had 3 young children with us and she asked if I wanted a kids menu... uh, yes..? Working in the industry, I know that’s typical and never base my experience on a host unless they are rude.

Definitely recommend trying this place! I have yet to be disappointed since new ownership!

*Update* got a burger tonight. Somehow better than last night. What a great burger.

In town for business. Staying up at the lodge. Decided to grab their burger and fries.

Very delicious. Its a Good, juicy and flavorful burger. I'm actually going to reorder tonight.

This is one of the best restaurants in the area. I thoroughly enjoy the food and love sitting at the bar. The golf course is very beautiful. The setting of this course, and restaurant is in the Lykens Valley, and is one of my favorite places I have ever visited.

Not only was the food, service and atmosphere perfect. Merely players was playing and they sounded outstanding. Definitely would return and plan on it very soon.

We did not have any reservations, the staff was still accommodating. Beer selection is a wall of different craft beers, it's a must try, get their sampler.

The food was delicious. I had the salmon with garlic butter sauce, red roasted potatoes, and broccoli. Everything was flavorful and done to perfection.
The server was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere in the bar area was decent, not too loud or crowded. Will definitely come back.

Very good food! Waitress was super friendly! We sat out on the deck on a 72 degree day in May watching the golfers! Perfect day..

We enjoy eating lunch and dinner at The Swing. The atmosphere and food are great. The menu has a little something for everyone and reasonably priced too. We have never had a bad meal. My wife loves the Wisconsin chicken and I like their chicken parmesan, among many other dishes. I would highly recommend The Swing.

My family celebrated Thanksgiving dinner today at Swing. I contacted to have a traditional Thanksgiving meal with added off the menu appetizers. Everyone truly enjoyed the meal and the portions left no one wanting more.

I have wanted to try Swing for quite some time. My wife and I were not disappointed! It was pretty busy due to a tournament and a rain delay, but the service and food were impeccable. Max's in Millersburg could learn some lessons from this place. It's our new favorite for date night.

Great first experience!! Garrett was awesome and took care of our needs the whole time. Food was amazing, so impressed! Had steak and shrimp and was smiling at every bite! The ruby red was a great drink as well!

Excellent food as well as our friendly server Gracie made for a delightful evening in a relaxed setting right here within "the valley"! If you are in the area and choose to stop in, you will want to get a slice of the Lemon Berry Marscapone Cake.. Simply Delectable! Sorry, we forgot to take any photos of it to share.

We ate on the patio and had an amazing view, that matched the amazing food.. The warm rolls made the dining even more exceptional. The lemonade slushes were refreshing and very tasty. The server was exceptionally attentive and friendly, definitely worth many returns.

Stayed three days for a play and stay at Lykens Valley golf course. Kudos to Chad Kirk the club Pro who was more than generous and accommodating with our group of friends. Nothing was to problematic and everything was handled to our satisfaction. The Swing restaurant at the golf course was also awesome with a nice variety of menu items all of which were very good and reasonable in price.There was inside dinning or outside dinning with a beautiful view the golf course which made the dinning experience great. The staff was pleasant, friendly and eager the make any changes in our meal requests. Our group has stayed and played at Lykens Valley in the past and have never been disappointed. Kudos to all.
