BBQ is not easy to get right. Living in Texas for 4 years, I grew to appreciate brisket very much. In Alabama for 4 years, pork was king. Oklahoma had it's highlights, but for the most part my 20 years in PA have been a BBQ disappointment. I've found places that were okay, if I have time to drive an hour or more to get there. More often, if I've wanted good smoked meat, I do it myself. Now I have a go-to for great BBQ and - not to be pigeonholed into one thing - Hank seems to be a master chef and his specials are awesome as well. I'll just say Hank is the king! Just what PA was missing!!

I ordered the pickled slaw brisket burger. I usually dont try new things but this burger was amazing I hope we can make it earlier next time to get some brisket.

Crab cakes today are fantastic. Lobster roll last week equally delicious.

Awesome food, great people! All it takes is one visit and you'll be back for more..... I had the Lobster mac an cheese today. DELICIOUS!!

The collard greens were AMAZING, and I'm not a girl who loves her greens. The mac and cheese was good too. We had the brisket which was fantastic and the pulled pork made me remember why I love pulled pork in the first place. Well smoked and perfectly seasoned, you can taste the love and care cooked into this meat. Also they have a horseradish based house sauce that is delicious paired with both the brisket and the pulled pork (although both can definitely stand on their own without any bbq sauce). I haven't experienced another BBQ place this good in any northern state! Just sad I don't live closer. And also sad that they don't sell sweet tea, because that would make it perfect.

I’ve eaten here literally dozens of times, and never had a single bad bite! Brisket always has a thick smoke ring, and melts right in your mouth, and pairs deliciously with the White sauce! Burgers are thick and juicy! Baked beans are the best I’ve ever had, and don’t get me started on the Crab cakes! As if the amazing food isn’t enough, the staff is always very professional, friendly, and accommodating!

Hank’s has the best barbecue around. If you love smoked meats, this is the place to go!! The brisket, chicken and wings are tender and seasoned to perfection! If you enjoy collard greens, I highly recommend, I know I’m addicted! No matter what you choose off the menu, you can’t go wrong!! Oh, and don’t forget about the friendly, hard working Chef and staff, they go above and beyond to provide the best food and customer experience!

Stopped in today and the food was really good. The ribs were good and moist, the pulled pork had delicious flavor as well as the brisket. Thanks Henry to you and your wife for taking care of us today. We'll definitely be back!

We loved the lunch buffet on Thurs as it provided the opportunity to taste some of the items we hadn’t tried before. Everything was fresh, kept at appropriate temperature and totally delicious!

The renovations of the Valley Bowl Bldg (where Hanks is located) are continuing and we see improvements with each visit!

We wish Chef Henry and his staff total success and so glad they are in Elizabethville.

Hank's has a variety of exceptional fresh meats that are hard to find in local areas. I have had the pulled pork sandwich and the brisket and loved both. The baked beans and mac & cheese are my preferred sides and they always make sure you get the quantity that you pay for. Great customer service and overall quality is fantastic.

Several of us ride to Hank’s from Reading area!! We’ve made the trip 4 times for AWESOME BBQ!!!! Got to say,I’ve ate a lot of brisket,ribs,& pulled pork from around the country and state,Henry makes a KILLER BRISKET AND CHICKEN,and PULLED PORK!!!! And on top of all his great food,the man is a great person!!! Always greets us and takes time to come out from making the meals to talk with us!! We’ve already made plans of traveling at least once a month to visit Hank’s BBQ.....Very high recommend going and seeing Henry and his staff!! See you again soon Henry.....Riders from Reading

The chicken is nicely smoked and so tender. The brisket is incredibly tender and well seasoned. The ribs are meaty and perfectly cooked. If you like tender flavorful meats, these are for you. The corn bread is delectable. I save it for dessert. This place makes me very happy.

Hank's Smokin Hot BBQ has the best BBQ around. I have eaten BBQ from Florida, Georgia, Texas, Ohio, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina and California and Hank's has the best hands down. He has large portions of succulent meat and his sides are delicious. If you are looking for great food and are in the Elizabethville area, highly recommend you make the trip to Hank's. Even if you are not out that way, you should make a special trip to see him.

Fantastic food! Was only 1 cook on when our group of 30 mobbed the place. Food came out fast and was delicious! We will definitely be back and keep this as a riding destination. Brisket was delicious!

We never write reviews but I could not help myself. My wife and I just left Hanks the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING you'd be foolish If you don't stop here if your in the area. We had the fish sandwich AMAZING .... brisket nachos AMAZING....Mac and cheese AMAZING .... collard greens and potatoe salad AMAZING . MY GOD THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND THE HOSPITALITY FROM HANK AND HIS WIFE WAS SUPURB . WE WILL BE BACK SOON. #forevercustomers

Finally bringing good food back into town with this place! Their BBQ food is amazing but what I really come for is their seafood! Defiently something wroth getting is the Tuna poke bowl! Highly suggest

Ribs are amazing! My cousin got the lobster roll and she said it was great! Went here with 5 people and all of us really enjoyed our food.
