Sylvester's Burgers

We tried to this place because of the awesome reviews and they weren't wrong!
The food was hot and delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so cool! Inside was fun with blue walls and pictures everywhere your eye landed! The outside has heaters and plenty of room to sit down, with cool music coming through the speakers.
We had chicken, veggies burgers and cheeseburgers and lots of fries. They were all huge and outstanding! They used SPROUTS! Hardly anyone does that anymore. I'd go back just for that. Their fish chunks were substantial and tasty. I don't know what magic they sprinkled on the sweet potato fries, but they were delightful!

On a road trip googled this place and I’m glad I choose it, burgers were on point. First of all it’s in a unassuming neighborhood, walking up you smell the broiler which is a plus. Wife ordered the 1/3 Hana I got the 1/2 Old fashioned with bacon, and Basket of garlic fries. Garlic fries with real garlic, so bomb. I will definitely be coming back, hell I’ll drive straight through from Vegas with no problem for this place. Sylvester’s 100%

Really good. I think the bigger you go on the patty u lose juiciness but overall the place is great. Also the onion rings are the reason to come back for more.

What a great pit stop this was. We got the old fashioned burgers with cheddar. People were friendly, vibe is super cute and small-town. Fries were crisp/well done which I loved. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

1st time with Lady Myra and her Grandkids- great burgers, milk shakes taste like Cosco ice cream per grand kids, 3 burgers and corn dog I had tm2 pint beers to wash down the dust from the nearby pumpkin patch at La Familia Ranch. Place is laid back. Unique. Lots of sectioned of rooms, patio , wash station and someone seemed to have locked themselves in the Mens room the whole time I was there! But a great place with an assortment of burgers and pictures of every local and tourist on the planet! Bill for 3 fancy burgers(big!) A corn dog meal with fries, an order of fries and onion rings, 2 strawberry and o e chocolate milkshake ( also have pineapple) and a Hynotic pint beer cane to $105.00 -I say- well worth it. Better than at the Embarcaderro in MB.

I come to morro bay for vacation a few times a year, and 90% of the reason is for this place.
I have dreams that I eat a delicious sylvester's burger only to wake up and realize it was all a dream, and that the best burger place is over 12 hours away from me.

Do yourself a favour, come and eat the best burger in the west coast. You will not regret it.

I long for your deliciousness once again. Sylvester's here I come.

Everytime I go and order any of the hamburger 🍔 combinations "THE BUNS ARE PLACED ON GRILL WITH PATTIES AND ARE OIL SOAKED. BURGERS FALL APART"
MOST BURGER RESTAURANTS HAVE DESIGNATED AREA FOR BUNS!!!!
So it will be at least a year or more before I make another trip 🙃
Good news is dogs allowed 😀

First of all, OMG! I think this is my favorite burger joint ever! I got the Baja burger, and it was amazing! It could have used a bit of spice, but it was good. My husband got the California burger and was in heaven. My oldest son got the flooded Texas and it was one of his favorites ever!

The battered onion rings, garlic fries, and regular fries are amazing. Big portions. Ranch is the good homemade kind.

My son's favorite burger joint while going to collage and now he takes his family there. I remembered how good it was and one day while I was driving around Los Osos, my son called me, I asked him if he could guide me to it, and he did. We go almost every time we come to the beach house in Morro Bay. I love the mushroom burger 🤤 and my mom love just the regular burger. Their onion rings are the BEST! I highly recommend it!

I got the habanero 1/3 pound burger. Added bacon. Awesome. And mint Girl Scout cookie milkshake. It was fabulous. The french fries were too much and put it over the top. I’ll definitely be back

The good was delicious and reasonably priced! We even got free t-shirts on the 4th of July! We will definitely go back if we are ever in the area again!

OMFG!!!! this has to be one of the best burgers i've had in my LIFE. big, juicy, and soooo flavorful. really really good burger and great fries. 11/10. im obsessed

Always love the original in Los Osos. We stop every time we come home for a visit. The burgers and fries are amazing. The kids meals come with a frisbee souvenir “plate”. Definitely worth your time if you’re in Los Osos

Delicious burgers and a huge serving of the best tasting onion rings. Try their Sylvester sauce. You'll love it!

I just had if your game for a good big juicy hamburger this was it!! I had the Sylvesters mushroom burger....oh my God it was the Bomb! Thank you to my brother who chose this place for his 62nd birthday lunch. We enjoyed the music and the food was great. Thank you Sylvesters for a good day.

The chowder is award-winning, and it deserves to be! Their imitation beef burger is also very good, especially with the toppings they recommend. The sweet potato fries were also great. They come served crinkle cut with powder sugar and a really good spice mix on them

Gave this place a try after reading other reviews and it definitely lived up to it's reputation. The three of us dining tried the wild boar burger, chili fries, onion rings, the Baja Burger, and California. Burgers were juicy and flavorful, onion rings we're among the best I have ever had, great seasoning and batter. Chili fries were great also, but tasted like they had sage and I am not a fan (actually an allergy and so I am bias). Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. Overall extremely glad we stopped in here, and just might find ourselves here again.

Ordered the old fashioned with Swiss cheese and bacon, 1/3 lb
The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender.
a little pricey, but very worth it. Does not come with fries.
Also ordered the chicken tenders for the kids, they approved, big sized tenders that order did come with fries.
I would go again.

I've been eating here for years! One of the best birger places I've ever been to! Love the entire menu, from the heart attack and mango habanero to the exoctic meat selections and everything in between!
