The only store in a 50 mile radius that sells collectible sports trading cards,the prices are fair market value and the owner has extensive knowledge on the hobby.
Highly recommended for collectors.

Easily the best game store that I’ve ever frequented. Great prices on DVDs, games, and music, and the owner will sometimes round combined purchase prices down (which in turn builds a loyal customer base). Because of their good prices and frequent Facebook posts, their inventory turns over pretty quick, so if you see something there you like, grab it because it might not be there the next day.

The first time I was there, I was looking for spawn comics, but I found other cool classic comics instead

Great place to shop! Knowledgeable staff and great selection of video games, CDs, and other collectibles. My husband always buys/sells Magic The Gathering cards every time we visit Pismo Beach.

I enjoyed coming here to find games or consoles. Owner is nice. The prices are good too.

The staff is very knowledgeable about everything I asked him about, and super nice and patient with all my questions. I was happy to find the pokemon card I was looking for and my wife found the movie she wanted, they have everything! I love this place because I don't have to drive to SLO and they will let you know if something you are looking for comes in stock. Highly recommended to all gaming nerds and music lovers also.

This is one of my favorite spots to pick up games, I will always cherish this place and hope it remains open forever.

Now that GameStop has closed its 5 cities location, I’m hoping more business can be brought here. I always find something cool, even if you can’t find the “newest” game you want.

The selection of DVDs/Games and other fun stuff will always give you something to consider buying.

This place is an awesome hidden gem for collectors visiting the pismo area. They Have a little bit of everything! Is great selection of vinyl comics retro toys. Also has 2 functioning arcade machines inside!! One that was an off road game ,and the other one is a Capcom game i can't rember excalty. Decent selection of retro video games. They also appear to accept trains They also appear to accept trade ins!

Pretty good prices, very cool collection of retro and vintage things for sell, great staff, a little disorganized but trust me the fun in finding a game, card or movie you have been looking for is pretty freaking worth it!!

The guy running the place is awesome and it's the type of small video game store that I love to visit. Easy to get good value for what you trade in and a beautiful mix of small, obscure and/or classic gaming stuff that's fun to scourge through accompanied by a lot of the later (and often more affordable than other stores) gaming consoles. Would definitely recommend this place! :)

Great place to visit if you like video games, MTG, collectibles, etc. Tony always has new things to look at and has great prices.

I have purchased many older retro games and consoles here, without any problems. Generally always has something new every week. I have never had to haggle or have any concern over price, as his prices are generally the lowest in the county.

One thing to note is that it is important to support businesses that have employees or owners that will take the time to talk to you, and get to know what your interests are. I have always left Games Exchange with a smile on my face and feeling good about a purchase.

I have read some of the negitive reviews on here about the pricing, or what is offered for trade in value/ cash. All i can say is that everyone needs to remember that this is a business, the deal needs to benifit both parties. Ive watched many of these deals go down and i think the offerings for trade in value/ cash have been more than fair. Getting angry and posting poor reviews for not getting your way is inappropriate.

Stop in Games Exchange, you wont be disappointed and you will most likely find something you just cant live without.

Great guy whose super nice. Very calm atmosphere. Wonderful place to find those rare items that you cant find in big name places. Support local support the ppl who work with you so they can work. Wish i could give more then 5stars

This place is reminiscent of those old school record stores but better. They don't just have records and music but they also have baseball cards trading cards sports cards movies, video games for consoles going all the way back to Atari. It's one of my favorite Hangouts. The guy working there has such a wealth of knowledge of all of those different aspectthings they sell that you can get into an interesting conversation that makes you lose track of time talking and chit-chatting. There aren't many places you can go anymore to get that experience.

Super Understanding Guy. Let me Put down a partial payment for a game system, and it turned out that i couldn't finish the deal due to some financial Problems and he was able to work with me. Super cool in my opinion. will definitely be going back to this shop!

Awesome retro shop. I was vacationing down in Pismo and I had to get my retro fix. I looked up the game exchange and decided to check out the store. They had all kinds of cool stuff , and best of all to me was the prices we're cheaper then ebay a rare site for some game stores. Honest pricing is what sold me.

This place is awesome! It's not ripoff like gamestop where if you bring in like 5 games you get 5 cents. I will always go here for the great prices

A great store with more than just games. Tony and Lonn are than knowledgeable on everything in the store. Definetly a family friendly environment. Also they host gaming events that Tony posts prizes for the winners!
