Best Western Plus Placerville Inn

The only thing that was a problem was how hard the mattress was. I have stayed at this hotel before in a room on the other end of the building and the bed was the same in that room, too. Just very uncomfortable depending on preference. If someone asked me to recommend a hotel in that area, I would say that your's is great, but I would mention the very hard beds.

Little funky getting my truck up in here. but the heat pump works great, beds comfortable, rooms clean, all the important stuff met my expectations. It’s an older building so expect the gremlins that come along with it. Squeaky doors, door/jam a little finicky.

Good location. Nice, clean facilities, and cost to support my weekend stay for a family birthday get-together in the Placerville area. Located next to an excellent Mexican restaurant, "Casa Los Abuelos," with great food, prices, and service. 😋

Very well maintained and cozy. Our room even had a nice little patio. Enjoyed my stay!

Nicely located on the outside of Placerville and away from the noise.
The rooms are large and clean with a nice view from the window, and it's still feels private.

The staff was very helpful and they serve a good brunch that can be eaten in their dining room or brought to the room.

I highly recommend it for a place to stay. I have stayed several times each time was enjoyable.

Still thankful. Down to earth staff. You don't like take your bleep up the road by the homeless camp/motel.

The room price was a great value and the room was quite nice and it was kept very well. It was a large room. It had a refrigerator and all of the basic things that you would need including a nice size table inside.
Their key equipment does not work. Right and the keys were not opening the room and we had to go back there. Several times and have the keys reset which is extremely inconvenient especially at certain hours.
The first night we could not really get anything to eat there because it was 9pm and their mexican restaurant across the drive was closed.
We went to a chinese restaurant in placerville and that was quite good and we took the food out because they were going to also close soon.
The next night we're able to get dinner at the Mexican restaurant right at the hotel and the food was quite good and the prices were fair. Would I recommend staying at this hotel? And yes I definitely would recommend staying here and the location is very good for all local activities.

Clean room and breakfast area. Friendly efficient and smart staff. It was the best stay I have ever had at a "basic" hotel.
I feel that they care as everything in the room was up to date.

I travel for work and spend a lot of time in hotels throughout California. For a Best Western this hotel is above average. Reading the negative reviews makes me think people have their expectations to high for this category of lodging, your not going to get a true 5 star hotel room for under $300! The staff can also play into the overall impression of the hotel since your first impression is established at check in. I have stayed here several times over the years and have not had any major issues. This last stay I was greeted and checked-in by Elli, they did an excellent job of getting me promptly checked-in while also acknowledging other guest and multi tasking to resolve others concerns without making me feel forgotten. They did so well I thought they were the manager! Great job Elli. My room was clean, I was on the road side, 3rd floor but did not have issues with noise. There is no elevator, however the hotel is built on a grade so the lobby is actually the 2nd floor but street level, the first floor is street level around back. The only floor that requires stairs is the 3rd. Nice pool area. Large parking lot with plenty of free parking. Mexican restaurant on same property with excellent food.

Nice comfy clean upgraded rooms. Great hot breakfast. Dante was awesome! Give that girl a raise!..pet friendly. Stayed for a weekend to go 2 red hawk.

Great property and value. The staff (even when we checked in super late) were so helpful, kind, and funny. Rooms were spotless, with large TVs and comfy beds. Also one of the better breakfast spreads at a property of this size. Great for a quick stay right off the highway on the way to Tahoe!

In the past month, I have booked the Placerville Best Western Plus several times while my home is under significant remodeling. The staff have been extremely helpful and efficacious. Rooms are good sized and bathrooms are big, too. I have had to add days to my original booking and the staff have been very empathetic to my predicament. The pool is clean and refreshing. Wifi signal was great. I actually needed to do some laundry and the laundry room is open until 10 pm and very reasonable. I should be getting frequent booking miles from the Best Western Plus...... it's become my home away from home this summer. All rooms have microwave and small fridge. AC worked great (which was fantastic as some of the days were topping 105). There is a Mexican restaurant only 30 yards from the property, and the BW is centrally located to several stores and shopping. On my last stay the parking area was being redone, so while many might complain about the inconvenience, I was pleased to see that the property wasn't afraid to dump money into improvements. There is a complimentary breakfast offered each morning, so if you have kids, it's a very economical perk to save you some money. The menu was quite impressive and there were many different options for the most fickle and discerning appetite. All in all, you can't really go wrong staying at this property if traveling through Placerville, CA.

The room was super clean, as was the hallways and lobby. They don't clean on stay over nights unless requested. I simply asked for towels and they were happily provided. The staff, especially Joshua was very pleasant and quick to help. Breakfast was provided, limited, but much appreciated. We enjoyed the jacuzzi as it was clean, and soothed soar muscles. Though it was broken the last two nights. The only negative is the water pressure was super low. Possibly due to fire fighting efforts. I needed to extend our stay an extra night(Friday). Joshua worked some magic and made the room I was in available. He had put us in a room close to an exit as I'm on crutches which made it easier on me.

This place is so great! It seems like you're out in the country, but a very short drive down the highway takes you to Red Hawk Casino. The staff here is the perfect example of superior customer service; every single one of the staff deliver excellent service in every interaction. The rooms are huge, newly renovated and super clean. When you check in, your door is sealed, assuring you it has been cleaned and sanitized. Fast check in and out. Property is clean and we'll kept.

Friendly employees working the front desk. Both checking in and out !! Good breakfast 😋 Hot tub was great . Pool was too cold for me . Nice rooms with comfy bed. Nice size TV too.
