Pagliai's Pizza

Paglai’s is still THE BEST pizza ever! The new owners have not changed a thing and are doing a fantastic job! The sausage tastes just as fresh and delicious as it always has! I highly recommend Pagliai’s Carbondale and i will definitely be back!

I've been enjoying Pag's pizza since 1978. The other mainstay place in town is mighty fine, but the thin crisp crust from a real brick oven really does it for me.

Simply the best pizza and Italian food in Southern Illinois! Great atmosphere and service. Always look forward to family dinners at Pags!

Ate here after the Great American eclipse April 8, 2024. I tried both cheese pizza & gluten free option that was top tier.

Stopped here to eat with family before the play at the Varsity.
Pizza was great. Waitress was friendly and attentative. Place was busy but not too.

Pizza was delicious. Place was packed. The staff still gave us great service.

Been visiting Pag's for almost 40 years and I'm astonished at the consistency of their pizza over 4 decades. Always great service and food - kudos to the management staff and all the hundreds of SIU students that have worked there to keep Pag's as one of the best pizza spots in the midwest!!

Just as good as it was 25 years ago!! No more walk up and go window, but I guess there probably isn't quite the demand for it anymore.....pretty tame around there now.

If you have not yet tried Pagliai's Big Red, you are missing a delightful treat. Expect 5 star flavor and a very full tummy. Exceptionally courteous staff.

Ordered the pan, thick crust, chewy pizza with pepperoni and ground beef. Pizza and sauce were amazing !!! Very delicious….we were in town on a camping trip and found this place on Google……was not disappointing. Will definitely be back !!!!

Excellent Pizza love Big Joe's Special. Salads were fresh and crispy. Another great job. June 10th 2024. As you see from my first review i Love Pags Pizza. Tonight was a totally diffrent experiance. Seated promptly , ordered in quick fashion. The waitress had salads superfast. Then I waited for 55 minutes for pizza. The aggravating thing was the waitress never stopped by to update why it was so long. I know it was not her fault the cooks screwed up, but just a check in would have been something. I tipped the server but on scale of 1worse to 5 best . Id say it was 2. I will give them another chance.

Awesome place to host an event! Food was perfect, our server Clair took great care of us. Melissa was very responsive with emails and calls regarding the set up for our party. 5/5 definitely recommend, and always love the pizza, so would recommend for any day of the week!

My favorite pizza ever! I have been eating Pags pizza for about 50 years now. Thick and chewy Canadian bacon and extra cheese. I love the owners and the pizza!!!! I recommend it all the time.

This restaurant has the best pizza I’ve ever had, and is a favorite of mine since I was a child.

This is our second visit. The pizza is great. We also shared a chef Italian Salad. Very good. Service is friendly and prompt. We will be going back.
