“Dangerous road” , wish someone moderates the up going and down coming cars. But good part is every driver who comes here are very generous and driving with safety and giving respect to other drivers.
View is breath taken, see the pics. Its definitely worth taking the risk of going up. Bikers will enjoy this for sure.

Beautiful views! Was expecting the drive up to be way worse from the reviews we read! It wasn't bad as long as you look ahead for cars coming at ya so you have plenty of time to pull over! This will be a perfect spot to take my parents and other older guests that don't hike a long ways but want to see the beauty of GA!

I didn't expect that!!! What a spectacular view from the top!!

You can park and admire or go up about 110 steps to the lookout. Both are incredible.

There are about 10-12 parking spots up top which are free. I can believe the mountains have so few homes with views like that over the lake.

It's a windy and quite steep way up the hill. You def would want no risk of ice or snow.

Incredible views from the top. The first time I went there was a cloud cover below the top, covering the lake…it was quite a sight to see.

You can drive all the way up to the top, but there is limited parking up there. There’s a secondary lot a couple hundred yards down from the top so if the top is full, you can park there and walk up. The road to get up there is pretty narrow and very steep.

Fun place. Dog friendly. You can drive up and park and walk the stairs to the top or you can walk up a steep road and then tackle the stairs. Something for everyone. Beautiful view of the lake.

Most underrated scenic spot in Georgia, the viewpoint itself is small but the location and the views it offers is just incredible. Would definitely recommend visiting this place if around Tennessee or Georgia or North Carolina. The Hiwasee town with beautiful ponds from the river and majestic mountains all around are beautiful. There was lot of graffiti as well at this spot in an art form and some just random. Also, the roads are pretty steep at some points and would recommend a 4*4 vehicle. There’s lots of cabins as well if you like to stay around and enjoy the night!

Great place to drive up with an amazing view. It is a full drive up to the top with limited parking but as long as one is patient as well as keeping their head on a swivel, they'll get up and down the mountain just fine without issue.

Great views!!! Definitely worth going to, but be warned of the intense drive up and back down the mountain to get to it. Only a short hike if you park in the first "lot" or you can drive all the way up and climb the rocks/stairs for awesome panoramic views!

Absolutely beautiful.
The dive up is asphalt, but the road is very steep and narrow. You will at times have to pull off to allow another vehicle to pass. When you get to the top, there is a very steep drive up (about.300ft). You can park and walk up, but it is steep. It is well worth the drive up. The views are amazing. I do not recommend a long wheel base vehicle such as a Ford F250. The turns can be tight. We were in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Amazing experience. As alot have posted the drive up is very steep. Close to 18% grade up. Make sure you have a car that can make the climb as it puts a beating on the motor. The views this particular day were breath taking and as some have said the graffiti may not be for everyone but i think i was pretty cool. The graffiti is a long standing local tradition that has been going on a long time before this was an official park. Enjoy the view and enjoy the adventure to the top.

Although the top of the mountain is not big, the parking lot is very small, and the road up the mountain is also very narrow. But I like it very much. First of all, the way up the mountain is the steepest mountain road I have ever driven, which makes me excited enough. It is rare to encounter such a high slope. The stones on the mountain are painted with colorful paint. There may not be many amazing graffiti here, but I still like this style. Even if it‘s just a variety of monochromes on the gravel, it feels good. It is very artistic.

Bell mountain offers great views of Lake Chatuge. It is a great spot to watch sunset and a great place to visit during fall as well as during summers.
The drive upto the top has steep inclines and narrow road. If you car is in good shape, you should not find it hard to get it to the top.

The 360 views are amazing, the graffiti...not so much. It's still worth going to at least once. As far as I know, there is no trail you hike. You drive all the way to the top on a single lane paved road so be aware of the pull offs if you encounter another vehicle coming the other direction. It's definitely steep so I recommend a 4Wheel/AWD but a 2WD can still make it up there. There is a small area you can park if you don't think your car will make it past the last incline, there are signs that'll tell you when to stop before that last bit if you don't think your vehicle will make it.

Beautiful, amazing, unique... Only a few words to describe this place. It is peaceful and beautiful. I had no idea what to expect, but I was not disappointed. While you either have to climb steps (150 up) to the highest overlook or climb rocks to the top for the best view, the view from the parking lot is almost as spectacular. Many people go for the sunset, so if that's what you want to see, get there early for a parking spot because space is limited. There is additional parking, but it is down the mountain and an additional hike up. If you are thinking of going, don't hesitate and make a day of it. You won't regret it!

Very nice view, a place where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the mountains without looking at all the graffiti.

Beautiful panoramic views of Hiawassee and the mountain ranges from this mountaintop. I wasn't too fond of all the graffiti, but it is a great location just for the views. The road to the top is quite narrow and steep, only allowing one vehicle passage in places.
