West End Grill

My buddy took me and his mom here for Sunday brunch during my trip to Huntsville. I had a good feeling I was about to eat some southern comfort food, and I was not wrong! I ordered the Crazy Bird which was a huge biscuit with chicken, gravy, cheese, and more! It was delicious and definitely hit the spot. Our server was so nice and did a fantastic job. The restaurant even had some fish tanks near where we were sitting which was so random but we absolutely loved it. Overall, we really enjoyed our brunch and I look forward to coming back next time I am in the area!

While traveling to Huntsville for Space Camp, we decided to go somewhere close to where we were staying and ended up here.

I’m glad we did. I wasn’t really sure what to expect before we went, but it is a really good family style restaurant. You could tell the food was going to be good as soon as you stepped into the place.

We got some cheese curds. I got the pot roast and my wife had the patty melt with sweet potato fries. She really liked her food and said the fries were great. I really liked the pot roast. It had a more unique flavor. It said on the menu it is cooked with pepperoncini. This gives it a good flavor and a little bit of spice you typically wouldn’t expect, in a good way.

The service was wonderful. They were attentive but not overbearing.

This was our first visit. There was plenty of parking here, and it was easy to find. The establishment is clean with a laid-back atmosphere.
Service: The service was fantastic!
Food: We had the pickles / jalapeños and fried cheese curds for appetizers. The cheese curds were great, but there was a pool of grease at the bottom, and those cheese curds were just dripping in oil. The same with the fried pickles/jalapeños. But they were good, we just didn't eat the ones on the bottom.
I had the Mississippi potroast with mashed potatoes/gravy and fried okra. It was FANTASTIC! ALL OF IT! My husband had the Ruben sandwich. He said it was delicious as well, and it was piled high meat. For dessert, we had the bread pudding. I also recommended that! It was pretty good.
The restrooms were clean and well stocked. I was very pleased with our first visit and will definitely be back!

From the atmosphere to the did to the very friendly staff, it was a real treat to have dinner here. The process were extremely reasonable for the size of the portions and you can tell they take pride In their establishment from the welcoming smiles to food that is well prepared instead of the canned and thrown together fare you find in many places. You won't be disappointed, I assure you we will be back. My wife says we finally have a favorite restaurant!

Wonderful service am good food. The drinks an food were reasonably an we're very good. Our waitress was fantastic and this was a great experience after a long day of traveling. Oh an the fish tank was a nice thing to look at while we waited.

We placed a take away order with the host, she is so kind & very helpful. While waiting for our food we had a drink at the bar, again staff was great at the bar. Sitting in the bar area was limited but found a seat & were quickly served.
The meat on the dip is delicious & the meatloaf is yummy with a finishing flavor of green pepper. For a side I had mashed potatoes, tastingmfresh with tiny bits of potato skin. We also had the ceasar salad & loaded baked potato. Ceasar salad croutons have a cheese flavor & the baked potato was tender with plenty of toppings.
Lots of TV's to watch sports & the fish tank is beautiful!

The service was top notch. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was great! My salmon was thick, so I was scared it would be dry, but it was so moist and tender. The bread pudding reminded me of my grandmother's in the best way, and my wife loved the blackberry hand pies!!!

Old spot that feels comfortable. A nice size bar, 2 indoor seating areas and a big patio. Service is fast and friendly. Menu is varied but still down home. Food is quality, fresh and fast. Will be back for a brunch!

Husband an I have eaten here four times. We both got something different each time. Everything has been so good. Portions to price is great. Staff is always so friendly. It's my favorite lunch place now.

WOW! Food is great!! Apparently a popular watering hole as well ☺ it had lots of patrons on a Sunday for lunch! Had the catfish and fried okra. Friend had Reuben. Recommend! I'll be back.

After I microwaved my mac n cheese, the meal was great!!!

I had not been to the West End Grill in many years, we went to meet a friend who moved out of Huntsville about 20 years ago. She had come here with her family once when they lived in town. My daughter brought her three children I was a little worried that it was not a place for children but they had plenty of choices on the children's menu. Our food was excellent our service was marvelous and all the employees from the greeting to the exit were very friendly and accommodating. It was a little busy we did have to wait as we were a party of seven but it was not a horrible long wait. And had seating for most of us as we waited. This is a great place to go for a drink with your buddies or to take your family for a meal.

Waitress was awesome. Quick and on point. Food came out in reasonable time and it was hot and fresh. Wings were cooked to perfection. The sauce had a very good flavor. A little larger versus what I usually get from other places. Fries were hot and crisp, not too greasy either. Wife had the taco soup and salad. Soup was very tasty and close to what she makes at home. Salad looked fresh, no browning or wilting of the lettuce at all. Meals were topped off perfectly with the bread pudding. Only complaint I could offer at all was that their hottest wing sauce could have had more heat. But I like things a lot hotter than most people do. So I won’t hold that against West End Grill at all. We definitely look forward to trying other options on the menu during our next visit! And there will be a next visit!

Work late and was looking for dinner. Stopped at West and Grill. They have a large menu so I asked the bartender, Sarah, for a recommendation. She brought out a country fried steak that was one of the best I have ever eaten. Service is friendly and fast. Prices really fair. Highly recommended.
Follow up. It was so good last night that I went back tonight. Robbie was my server. He too was friendly and attentive. Had a good ribeye that was properly grilled. Fries and vegetable beef soup were both good.
If you’re in Huntsville Al. this is a great spot with good meals, cold beer, and priced so you don’t mind having an extra beer or two. Highly recommended!

Been here a few times and had a few dishes (tot-roast, rueben, burger, wings, cheese sticks, fried pickles, etc). Never a bad meal. Service is usually very good, and it's well priced.

First time going there. Several of my cousins met for brunch. It was very nice and clean there. We all enjoyed it very much and had a very nice time. Our waitress even took pictures of us and for us. That was so very nice of her to do that.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I absolutely loved it!! The fish kept me entertained during the very short wait for my meal (it took less than 5 minutes from the time I ordered). The food came out hot and fresh and my server kylynn made me smile everytime she came to check on me. Definitely a 5 out of 5

Been here a few times for lunch. Great service, staff, and quality. Haven't had a single item on the menu that wasn't great. Their fried chicken sandwich is better than any i've had on the market, including the big names. Not even close. Looking forward to trying more menu items.

I have eaten lunch there a couple times, ( I always eat lunch there when working in the area), the grilled meatloaf was always good. My wife and I had dinner there, she had the meatloaf and I tried the 12oz. ribeye. It was terrific ! We will definitely be back !

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. They always have great service, a family friendly atmosphere, and a variety of American grilled food. The express lunch during the weekdays are very popular. We were there on a Saturday. I was so excited to enjoy my waffle fries I almost forgot to take a picture!
