Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Rita’s is a great spot for an after dinner dessert! Fast and friendly service. You can sample the different flavors before committing to one. The custard and gelati are both awesome! I definitely recommend one of the two over getting the Italian ice by itself. They even have outdoor seating with umbrellas! They also accept ApplePay

We’ve been waiting for this place to open and it did not disappoint. The employees were really really friendly. The line was long but it moved quickly. The owner served me and let me sample as much as I wanted to. He said the Banana Pudding flavor was his wife’s specialty!

My husband and I went for Mother's Day. The staff was friendly and they had outstanding customer service. I really enjoyed my mango ice with vanilla ice cream.

After hearing people talk about Rita's we decided to go and it did not disappoint! When you walk in the shop smells SO good. They were pretty busy but the line was moving fast.
Employees were friendly and provided quick, efficient service. They have a chalkboard wall for kids to write on which is neat. They also have indoor and outdoor seating. This is a great place for families and to make memories.
I got the sundae with brownies and it was delicious! It was a generous amount of custard and was so creamy and smooth. Definitely compets with handel's (our fav place) We will definitely be back for future visits!

Large selection of various frozen dessert (Italian ice, gelato, Custard). Service was quick and friendly. Being newly opened line was out the door. Will definitely be back. Had some very interesting flavors.

Best Italian Ice and Custard around! Fast and friendly service. We love that they are always rotating flavors! We have not yet had anything we didn’t like. My favorites are the mango, pineapple and banana ice and the apple pie custard!! The soft serve gelato is like NO other!!! 🤤 Our neighborhood, Kelly Cove, was blessed to have them out many times throughout the covid shutdown and many many times thereafter. We LOVE Rita’s!!!

I had never been here before. It was an experience. An amazing experience. The customer service was unbeatable. They let me sample before buying. I would definitely go again. I recommend the mint chocolate chip ice.

I have passed this place countless times and never thought to go in, but it was my child’s birthday and she the family wanted ice cream. This was a very friendly spot and they also had a very good selection of frozen custards. The price was not too much for everyone and was very enjoyable!

Came her with my family the other night. Rita's has a wide variety of desserts, and they allow you to try practically anything before you buy it. I got the black raspberry and chocolate fudge, and both flavors were very creamy and worked well together. The staff is younger, full of energy, and really seemed happy to be working there. The place itself was very clean, and the prices were very comparable to other ice creams shops with fewer selections. Definitely worth a stop. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures.

I just wanted you to know that that boy seth is a great hard worker. He stayed locked in and served every customer that walked in the door. But that’s not the only great thing about him, his beautifully luscious flow is also great.

Our little family loves to run to Rita’s no matter the outside temperature. The product is always delicious and the pricing is fair. The staff is always nice and create your order in a timely manner. My favorite is the Pumpkin shake that’s available in the fall.

I brought my son here after school to try it and we were not disappointed. My son got the cotton candy ice cream on a cone and I had the strawberry daiquiri Italian ice, both were absolutely delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is definitely worth checking out!

Great owners and deserts! We used to have to get it in Gulf Shores each summer but now we can get it year round. Kids love root beer and cotton candy flavors ice. I love the chocolate chip cheesecake custard.

Was blown away by the selection and the friendly staff. The varieties range from sweet to savory like cherry all the way to coffee. They also happen to have concretes, and shakes ad well as cookies and brownies. Don't be fooled by the huge crowd the staff is efficient enough to deal with a lot of orders very quickly, it just seems like a "hangout spot" on the weekends. Definitely check this place out!

I have been searching for fresh made Italian Ice since I was young and used to get it at the local swimming pool where I grew up. I was so excited when Rita's opened and I could try it again. I tried several flavors but got the cotton candy and it took me back to my childhood! I also tried the custard while I was there, I didn't care for the soft serve custard, the fresh made in store custard was delicious! I thought the prices were reasonable too for what I bought. I will definitely be going back to Rita's Italian Ice!

I grew up with the original Rita’s water ice right outside NE Phila. and when I saw it I had to stop; some thing’s have changed but the mango water ice is the same as I remember, perfect!

The frozen Custard here is amazing, and at an unbeatable price. Every time I've come here, I have ordered a different variety of gellati, a blend of Italian ice and custard (which conceptually seemed odd at first, but is definitely worth trying). I've never spent more than $5 here, so the value is definitely amongst the best in town. Overall, I'd say this is one of the best places to get ice cream for <$5 in the area.

Great experience! Took the little one for a non dairy treat to beat the heat. Try the Ice Flight, 4 tasty flavor selections! Will definitely go again🙌🏾
