I recently leased my 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport from McGrath Volkswagen of Marion in Cedar Rapids. Everyone there made my visit a pleasant experience. Especially my salesman, Cole Carlson. I had the pleasure of working with Curt at McGrath VW, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received. From my first interaction, Curt was incredibly responsive and a straight shooter. He guided me through the entire process seamlessly, making it convenient and stress-free. I could tell he truly wanted to find me the right vehicle and it wasn’t just a sales pitch. That kind of service can be rare to find. My experience with Dane in finance was equally excellent. I’ll definitely work with them again in the future.

I would highly recommend seeing AJ if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle. He was super friendly to work with and went above and beyond to ensure I was a happy customer. The car buying experience can be a little stressful but he made the entire process a lot more pleasant and I appreciate his attention to details and customer service. Susan and Tyler were also great to work with in the finance department, really appreciate all of their help working with us.

I typically don’t take the time to write reviews but my experience at the service department was beyond what my expectation was.

I recently bought my car at Pat McGrath in Marion and my experience was ok. It wasn’t anything beyond what my expectation was and I left with the car I wanted. Shortly after I took it home I started noticing some issues. I called up the service department and was able to get it in at my earliest convenience. Once I arrived I was greeted by Riley who was so incredibly kind. He really listened to my little to no knowledge of cars and ensured I would be taken care of. Riley kept in contact with me every step of the way and also was present when the mechanic talked to me. Having him present felt more comfortable since I already had formed a trust with Riley and I appreciated the extra effort. Riley made sure I had what I needed to be comfortable while I waitws with snacks, drinks and the most delicious popcorn! With kids at home and a busy work schedule, I had a whole list of errands I absolutely had to get done the same day. I was told the repair was going to take quite some time (several hours) but with my husband at home working, I accepted the possibility of spending my day in the waiting room. Riley asked if I would like to be transported anywhere but I declined. Not long after, Riley offers me a loaner vehicle! I couldn’t believe it! He got it all set up for me and not only was I able to get all of my errands ran, I had time to go home and relax before my car was done! Once I arrived to pick it up, Riley continued to make extra effort and had checked to see if all of my repairs were covered under my warranty. I knew some wouldn’t qualify but he checked anyway! After my awesome experience, I honestly wasn't shocked he did that for me because he went above and beyond for me from the moment I steppes through the door!

As I stated, my experience purchasing my car wasn't anything out of the ordinary but after my experience with getting my car serviced, I will absolutely be a returning customer and would recommend Pat McGrath in Marion to anybody and everybody looking for a vehicle or especially needing a repair! I have been buying vehicles from here for 8 years. I have even recommended family members here, that have purchased vehicles from them. I have even met people through my service job, about an hour and a half away from the location, that travel all the way to Marion, (like we do) just to get the superior customer service these folks have to offer.

Had my rearview mirror fall off in the middle of the day last Saturday. Went in to the dealership to see if they could help me and get a quick solution. Riley, Logan, Tyler in service were awesome! Gave me all the options and got me in touch with the auto glass guy who replaced my windshield! TJ my salesman made sure that I was taken care of and got the guy to come out and repair it while I was at work! Big props to all those guys for being so helpful and polite. If you go there ask for them because they are sure to give you a great experience.

I worked with Jordan specifically and he did a great job answering my questions, got me in the car for a test drive right when it was available and got the deal done in a way I could still take care of my family needs and not sit in there all day. I had a really bad experience buying my last vehicle at a different dealership and this was the exact opposite. I’d definitely recommend them and shop with them again.

I was able to get APPROVED over the phone because I work out of town. They had 3 different trucks for my husband to test drive waiting for us when we got there. He test drove them, picked the one and we signed. We were in and out in about an hour. The entire staff was friendly and great to work with! This is our 2nd vehicle purchase with McGrath and we will always come back! Thank you again guys!

Seriously one of the best car buying experiences. I had been browsing around for a new vehicle for awhile but had decided to wait to pull the trigger until it was closer to summertime. However, a friend of mine had told me about McGrath in Marion and Abby. I had reservations as I was worked with big name car dealerships before and had an awful experience with them. My friend assured me that would not happen here and kept insisting I pull the trigger now. I finally said it didn't hurt to look.
Unfortunately, due to losing my job last year due to the property being sold and me being out of work 1 month my credit took a hit (hense the main reason I was going to wait a little longer). Abby and the finance team worked extremely hard to find me a vehicle that I liked and that I'd be able to afford.
Every encounter I've had with people at this location has been great. I have been referring people here since then but only know of 1 person who went and left with a vehicle and told me they had such a good experience too.
Highly recommend McGrath in Marion and highly recommend Abby. She is absolutely amazing and so is this location and the finance department! Thank you for the hard work in finding my perfect vehicle!

The service department was one of the best experiences I've had. My service consultant, the service manager and service technician made sure I knew everything that had been completed and they helped me with an unexpected issue at the time of service, that could have lead to a bigger problem down the road for me! I appreciated their honesty and transparency.

One of the Easiest Car Buying experiences ever! My salesman, Alex, found me the Best Deal, I highly recommend him!! These guys will put you in A great used vehicle, They are super friendly and easy to work with. After dealing with McGrath chevyland and being highly dissatisfied with the vehicle options, and my needs as a single parent and the vehicle size that was offered. I was contacted by McGrath Volkswagen about another vehicle that could fit my needs as well as being a safer option I ended up going out there. Nothing but the utmost respect for Pat McGrath Volkswagen of Marion! The way I was treated at chevyland was the exact opposite of how I was treated at the Volkswagen of marion! The staff treated me like I was a valued customer unlike the staff at Pat McGrath chevyland! My kids were treated phenomenal the sales team worked with me to get me out of a compact car and into something bigger and safer as I'm a single mom. I have nothing but respect for this branch of Pat McGrath. Pat McGrath chevyland employees talked down to me outside of Torrance! And I was told at chevyland "the McGrath name has a lot of money behind it" I'm sure it does but you can't keep customers coming back if you don't treat them the way McGrath Volkswagen treats people! The way I was treated at chevyland was plain out disrespectful! And the temperaments of Andrew that works there was just disgusting! Long story short choose Pat McGrath Volkswagen in Marion versus Pat McGrath chevyland! You will get a lot further and treated a lot better

I worked a deal mostly remotely with this dealership and the sales associate I worked with Jordan was very responsive and attentive to what I was looking for. Blake Martin in the finance department set up a great low pressure sales scenario and was forthcoming and transparent throughout the process. Made for a seamless purchase once I decided to buy the vehicle.
