Summit Crossing Community Church

My husband and I have been going here since 2009 and have never felt anything other than a part of a family. Much prayer and thought has gone into every aspect of this church, from the teaching, to the music, the children's program, youth group, the mission, the building, and even parking. I was so impressed that during the service, the parking attendant volunteers walk the parking lot to make sure no children are accidentally left in vehicles. It is not a building that makes a church, it is the people, and Summit Crossing has wonderful people working together as the body of Christ to glory God.

First time visitor this morning. The message was clear and understandable, the music was great, but most importantly, we felt welcomed by the pastor and the congregation.... which is a rarity of my usual experience when visiting churches.

An extremely loving church. Wonderful mission outreach. Truly devoted to sharing the Bible and God's message with their community and the world.

The word of God is taught and the congregation is genuinely nice!!They are well organized and not flashy! I truly appreciate my family finding this church. My teen is establishing friends who I pray will stay with him through the years and grow with him TOWARDS Christ

Member for about 7 years. We love the Missional Community Group structure. To be blunt this is not a place to warm a seat. This is not a southern "country club" church. You need to be active in a group and participate in order to be recommended for membership. You can, however, start being active in a Missional Community Group right away. We are designed to do life together, to disciple. -- We have also been missionaries sent by Summit in our past work. -- You can expect: Expository preaching with occasional "one-offs". We collectively follow daily community bible reading and pray. Instead of inventing new projects or programs they encourage you to get involved locally and internationally with other ministries and organizations that are already established(think: serve day, manna house, downtown rescue mission, CRU...). Be the church, not the name or the building.

Love this church. Very solid, gospel-centered preaching and worship. Good shepherding leadership. In the A29 network. I recommend, 10 out of 10.

Straight Biblical teaching, faithful leadership. You can tell this church has it's heart set on sending us out from neighborhoods to the nations.

Summit Crossing is an Acts 29 church whose mission is to encourage one another to know the Gospel, connect in Gospel relationships, and live out the Gospel in the world. The music is in a contemporary style but all songs are carefully chosen for their theological content as much as their sound. The sermons are heavy in Biblical exposition rather than being topic-driven. Children's ministry is active on Sunday mornings for babies up through 6th grade. Missional communities (MCs) are the small groups that meet during the week to study the Bible, discuss the sermon, and encourage one another in Gospel living. There are MCs for the student ministry as well (7th-12th grades). If all you want is a church that will make you happy and preach feel-good sermons, this isn't the place for you. But if you are serious about following Jesus and reaching others for Him, this is a good place to be.

Great teaching of the bible and Christ and not a bunch of people being judgmental. I always feel God's presence and love . Singing and worship are very uplifting.

This church is dedicated to biblical truth and are some of the most generous, hospitable, and caring people that I've met.

Great church. Love the leadership. Kingdom minded, Gospel-centered. And all this, from a local pastor in the area!

If you love a church that has an electric spiritual atmosphere, this is the place for you!! Jesus dwells in the mists, and we are on fire for God @ summit crossing!!!

Summit has lots of friendly people, contemporary music, and a pastor that preaches straight from the Bible.
