I found William from a simple google search, when looking for someone who can help rebuff/fix my live edge wooden table & bench. I wish I had discovered him earlier as he is a true artisan! I would have bought a table from him. He is thorough, meticulous, honest, professional, and very talented. His showroom showcases his incredible work ranging from wonderful furniture to cutting boards to decorative pieces - all hand made, hand chosen and crafted with love. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

We had been looking for a custom epoxy table for a while and then stumbled across WKS by accident. They were actually closed but allowed us inside and took the time to show us their work, let us pick out our slab, discuss design, and so on. William ended up creating the most beautiful dining room table for our home. We could not have been happier with his work. He is a passionate artist and takes great effort in creating not just a functional piece of furniture but a beautiful piece of artwork. Thank you guys so much for everything! We love our table and it goes perfectly in our new home!

William built me an amazing set of custom tables from a piece of wood that meant a lot to my family. My Mother-in-Law planted an Oak Tree the day my wife was born. Later in life the tree began to die and had to be cut down. I was able to save a piece of the wood that was unfortunately in very bad condition. William was able to miraculously bring it back to life in the form of two amazing foyer tables, one for my wife and one for her Mother. Now the tree lives on as family heirlooms that will be enjoyed for years to come. They are more art than furniture. Thank you for the amazing work, William!

The pictures fall short of truly showing just how beautiful our table is. I had a very specific vision in mind that William was able to understand immediately. He spent a lot of time explaining the process and showing us his impressive work. Our live edge table is massive, yet sleek, at 8ft long and 53 in. at its widest point. The dark walnut, single slab, is full of dimension and character. It has become the statement piece of our home that sparks joy for us every time we walk in or sit down to enjoy a meal. William communicated throughout the whole process and was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend bringing joy to your life too and having William design a functional work of art for your space.

While you can obviously see a beautifully, handcrafted table, these pictures could never adequately capture the soul of this magnificent tree that has been brought back to life by a clever, talented magician called William. He has transformed this poor, damaged piece of Mother Nature's best work into a fusion between the dark, quiet forest and the wild, restless, moody ocean. My stand up desk was delivered this past week. What kind I say except that it is absolutely beautiful and more than I could have ever imagined. We met with William and told him my vision. He took what I thought I wanted and took the vision to a whole different level. William’s creativity and eye for his craftsmanship is like no other. He is so passionate about his work and makes sure to keep you informed during the process.

OLD WORLD CRAFTSMANSHIP MEETS MODERN DESIGN: If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture look no further. From the first minute you meet William you will feel his intensity and dedication to his craft. He also has an intuitive feel for his customers and will bring you along on the artistic journey of creating your own heirloom piece of furniture. It is a real joy to visit his show room and see the organic nature of his work. We love the dining room table that he made for our beach house on Holden Beach. We wanted the piece to tie together the views of the ocean and sand, and he nailed it (the pictures really don't do it justice). Although he is very busy now, his reputation is certainly growing fast so there is no better time than now to get started, so go see for yourself - you won't regret it.

My experience with WKS Wood Design was such a Terrific Experience, I would Highly recommend them! Coming from out of state I was a bit hesitant about purchasing from the company. However, moments after meeting the owner, William, my concerns were dismissed. Once I saw the passion he has for wood, his craft and perfection I knew my items were in Great Hands. Both the entry table and Dining Table are beautiful, but the Dining Table has my character all over it. BRAVO Will for designing a Beaufort piece of Arywork!

As my husband and I were driving by William's
WKS WOOD DESIGN, we noticed a rather large, beautiful round slab of wood outside of the shop, and my husband shouted STOP !! After going inside and speaking with William and striking up an hour long conversation with this True Carpenter, we realized William's passion was contagious. My husband was truly inspired with William's depth of skill and love of each piece of wood in the shop, and it made Chris ask if he needed help with carrying or delivering any of his finished pieces. The rest is history! Their friendship was sparked and William's talents were now Chris' passion too. It's a pleasure seeing finished tables, custom bowls, cutting boards, end tables, chess boards and other one of a kind beauties William makes by hand. An Art that has gone by in time. We love the pieces that we have purchased and we're so happy to see all of the other amazing reviews. WKS Wood Design custom built a beautiful coffee table for our home. William the owner and creator of the most amazing pieces of furniture, made us a one-of-a-kind stunning coffee table. We just love the end result, and it will always be the focal point of our living room. It is not just a table it is a piece of art.

We are really thrilled with our coffee table! Our entire experience was enjoyable. We came into the shop the first time and saw all of the beautiful work. William helped us select wood for our table. He communicated with us throughout the entire project and finished our table ahead of schedule. We returned to approve it and once more when the legs were on and it was ready to be picked up. He is a thoughtful artist and gets excited about his work!

We had a custom bar top made and we could not be happier. It's beautiful. It truly is a piece of art. Not only that, they were willing to work with us so we didn't have to cut into the wood at all, creating a one of a kind custom piece. The process was wonderful and we are so happy with the result.
