Great trail. It's not rated as difficult, but the walk does possess some hills that could be difficult if you're not in good shape. Beautiful views and everything was clean.

Im in love of this place!! Is a good spot for swimming and chilling ✨ in the trail there are deers! Read the signs! Almost we lost and walked for other side where the water is not good to swim. The parking is small so is good to come early 8 am to 10 am or after 3pm because there isn’t parking near . The trail from parking to lake is around 1 km so be patient.

Beautiful and peaceful part of Eno River State Park. I like it the most late March-April because nature is waking up and all river ways are full of water. It gets really crowded during the summer. It's leashed dogs friendly, but no restrooms, picnic areas or a playground.

Excellent hiking areas. They have plenty of signs once you get down to the quarry that there have been a lot of car break ins and to make sure you hide valuables and don't leave keys, etc. I feel like they should put a camera in the lot with the amount if signs they post around the lake. Anyway, great place. We felt safe.

Quick easy hike to quarry, about 30 min walk.
Enjoyed the relaxing vibe, recommend going early morning in the weekend since parking gets filled quickly.

Beautiful lake , awesome water , clear water but it too deep, if you going to swim bring your lifeguard jacket or other stuffs to save you from drowning, the place are look beautiful and very nice looking. But there are no trash cans, they should have it there .

Perfect swimming hole for summer days. It's about a 20 minute walk from the parking lot and a .8 mile trail. The quarry is about 60 feet deep and drops off quick. No place to stand in the water, must bring a pool noodle or tube. There is limited space to set up camp. Get there early if you want a good spot. The parking lot can probably hold about 20ish cars. Beware of theft when you're swimming, you can't see your belongings when you're in the water and there's signs posted warning you of thieves. The cliff where you used to be able to jump off has been blocked purposely by trees for safety purposes. Saw a few fish in the quarry and a turtle. Water was clear and temps were cool.

Beautiful place to float in the summer or hike when it’s cooler. The Cabelands to Quarry trail is a great hour-ish hike. One thing to note is that the small parking lot can get incredibly busy and full on the weekends, especially during summer.

Spring water is great. 60 feet deep. Watch out for fallen trees. Someone died here pretty recently. Great place to swum but definitely bring your A game and some floats, a picnic basket wouldn't hurt either. Magical place in all seriousness you can tell the water is clean.

This is a really cool place. The short hike in is pretty, and even early in the summer, the water's as warm as a pool... probably about 85 F. You might need to get there early, since the parking lot fills up. If you're willing to hike further, other parking is available, too. Check the trail map for routes.
A ranger warned us that 6 people had had their stuff stolen in the past two days, so keep your things in view while you're in the water.

Fun and relaxing, as long as you're taking measures to be safe. It's very very deep right from the edge, so even strong swimmers should have a float or something to hang on to. Do not drink or jump from the cliff, and you'll have a great time! About a 15 minute slightly hilly hike to get there from the parking area. The water is still and clear and a perfect temperature all summer :)

We LOVE hiking to the Eno Quarry. We visit there as a family several times a year. My kids enjoy jumping off the cliffs into the water too. Such a fun place to hike and swim locally.

Awesome place to hangout in the summer. I love going out early in the morning right when it opens. It's so peaceful and there are logs you can float around on. The cliff is also a great time and a good thrill. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
