Drake's BBQ

I was down there for a funeral and waited some good barbecue.i wasn't disappointed it was great,the only thing is I would prefer getting barbecue sauce on my meat instead of a lil dipping cup.

On God! The food is so good at Drakes. I was visiting from North Carolina. Stopped in at Drakes and got the rib tips, Mac and cheese and baked beans. I ate some and was mesmerized. I tried to save some to bring back to NC for my other family members to taste but I ate it on the flight back. Sooooo good. Omg!

Hands-down, some of the absolute best barbecue in the Delta, and that's saying something! We've got some excellent BBQ. The staff is always fantastic, their menu is a plethora of deliciousness guaranteed to please, and the massive smoking grills out front are a beacon call that gooooood things are happening at Drake's in Greenwood! 😊

I was driving through Greenwood, Mississippi and my lunch options were looking bleak. Out of pure desperation, I pulled into the first thing I saw... a Popeye's Chicken. Thankfully though, the ridiculously long line at the drive-thru wasn't moving so I had time to pull up Yelp (and cross-reference on Google Maps) and that led me 3/4-mile down the road to Drake's — and I'm so glad.

I pulled in and there were two huge smokers sitting in the parking lot of this nondescript little strip mall that I would've driven right past. Inside I found super friendly folks, some incredible smells, and I was thrilled to see my Florida Gators represented in their wall decor.

I got a pulled pork sandwich combo with two sides (the potato salad was great but the mac n cheese was ridiculous!). Everything was delicious.

This place is small take out only. The smoker pits are outside in the parking lot. I have never eaten barbque so good as I have here. The sauce is addicting also. The people are very nice. Will be back.

Came all the way from Greenville just to try this bbq and it was worth the hour drive. Food was so good, well seasoned. Large portions so I definitely got my money’s worth.

First time and I will be back.
Next time I'm trying those lamb chops I heard about.
I had the rib tips fries and beans.... Ate every last bite.
I pick up at Milwaukee tools everyday and next time my load is delayed I will be stopping in again. Thank you.

The ribtips were good but wasn't tender enough for me I like to eat the gristle

I had the half chicken and it had a dry rub right of the grill. Delicious and this will be another stop for me.

Everything I could want in a low key BBQ spot. Feel like I'm spoiling myself. Lol

This evening I discovered the crown jewel of Greenwood, Mississippi. Most amazing pulled pork I have had in ages. The sandwiches were massive. The slaw and pork delicious. The sauce complimented but didn't overwhelm the masterfully cooked meat. On top of that, the staff were friendly and fast. Will definitely be back to try more of their culinary creations. Highlight of my work trip to the state. Thanks to everyone who makes Drake's great! ❤

Those ribs were on point. I must go again. Everything was great!!! Worth the drive.

First time here and I mean it is delicious!! Fall off the bone ribs with great smoke! 100% worth every penny. These guys can cook!

Came all the way from Milwaukee,Wi. The food was very delicious and the staff were so welcoming. My family and I will be back and I promise to spread the word of the best bbq in town

this was, hands-down, some of the best BBQ I've ever had: pulled pork with baked beans. my wife, whose family is from Mississippi (read: has had a *lot* of BBQ experiences) said the ribs might just be the best she's ever had in her life. fantastic family-owned and run spot; will definitely make sure to return as often as I can when down South!

It has the Best ribs. The potato salads are both excellent and hard to pick a favorite. If you go away hungry, its your own fault.

After a hectic day from Greenville, my hometown, to Cleveland for a doctors appointment and then another in Greenwood….Drakes Rib tips, cabbage greens and baked beans really hit the spot - It was well worth its costs. I’ll definitely be visiting again. Keep up the great work. The staff was friendly, portions were filling and it’s a very busy and booming lil spot.
