Lighthouse Baptist Church

Stepped up to help the community after hurricane Michael with relief from clothes, food and water. Their setup allowed you to get the items you needed and could use. Which was a lot better than being given stuff that you wouldn't use. Some other places were given formula & diapers to people that didn't have kids, instead of allowing people to get what they needed. I would see on several yard sale sites where people were selling the items. This church is located on 15th st. next to St Dominic

I wish there was a negative review part. When the hurricane took place. Me and my elderly mother slept in a uhaul outside the church for one night, just getting what was left of our property. We never asked for food or water because we knew some people needed it more than us. Even tho we watched people steal off the grounds and drive away. The next morning I went inside to use the bathroom and nothing more. I was approached by the Pastor’s wife, saying I shouldn’t be there, I wasn’t allowed there and I looked like I was stealing. I tried to explain my uncle was a member and her nor her husband believed me until my uncle came inside. They held me in a corner inside. They are not friendly and definitely not color friendly. The whole time I was pregnant and couldn’t hold my bladder.
