Mayers Lake Ontario Winery & Cidery

My husband and I went to Mayers winery in Hilton yesterday and had a wonderful experience. I had some soup and it was delicious. This is a very friendly place and has a warm cozy feeling inside. The smell of the fire is amazing. So glad we found this gem of a place. I highly recommend this place for a nice get away.

Had a great experience. The pizza, wine, and cider were all top notch. Their fries are so good too!

I heard about a special that the winery was having for Valentine's Day. It included a five course meal paired with the perfect wines for each course from their vineyard.

I took my wife, the atmosphere was romantic, the food was delicious and the wait staff was excellent and the cost was excellent as well.

I will be returning and highly recommend this place.

Really nice spot that can accommodate large groups. Fish fry and lobster bisque were delicious. Dave made us feel right at home. Will definitely be back.

My husband, daughter, and I went in for wine and pizza. We met the Owner Dave who was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was perfect and the staff and patrons were friendly and fun. We had wine tastings and a nice dinner, Dave interacted with us throughout our time there and personally did our tasting. Everything was excellent and the Chef was very nice. We bought 5 bottles of wine and can not wait to go back!

went on a Friday night, sat on the patio around 630 pm. . And we had the patio to ourselves Had wonderful service from both the owner Dave and our waitress Bree . We tried the blt dip and spinach artichoke dip , fish fry , and shaved steak pizza . Food was delicious that night and even reheated the next day was amazing !!!!!!!! Love Love Love the unique way the French fries are cut and cooked !!!!! we did a tasting and left with a LOT of wine and cider!!!! There are some renovations happening there (not in the restaurant part ) so go check it out !!

Enchanting! This Winery is beautiful and charming. A Sunday afternoon Open Mic on the Patio under red umbrellas surrounded by lovely foliage was my introduction to Mayers Lake Ontario Winery. Wonderful vibe , food

Charming hidden gem we discovered by chance on a motorcycle ride. Very friendly staff more than willing to accommodate your every request. Delicious pizza from the kitchen!! Tasty cider and wines too!

We wanted to try something different and found a Groupon for Mayers. They took us by surprise on how great the food is. The fish sandwich was far better than expected and the spinach artichoke dip was amazing! I also got a flight but couldn't really decide on a wine. The wine is pretty good but with food, the red wines were fairly the same in taste. Overall the experience with food and drink is great.

The staff was also very helpful with the menu. We we directed to a few fan favorites. And also met the chef who made the meals. Very great atmosphere and friendly people.

I stopped in for a quick tasting and dinner between appointments. I was clearly the first one in for the day, but was greeted by a nice lady who was ready and excited to give me a tasting. She took her time, explained the ciders and help me pick a bottle to take home. I had a little time and enjoyed a phenomenal flat bread while I was there. Listen, it’s a family run joint with a long history, slow down and enjoy the offerings.

One of my favorite places to go. Charming and cozy atmosphere. The fireplace adds to the charm. Dave the owner is fantastic. He’s the type of person who makes you feel right at home as if you were talking to an old friend. The wines and ciders are terrific. The food is very good. They have an apple and cheese pizza that is out of this world. Dave took us on a tour of the expansion and it is going to be beautiful. I can hardly wait until that part is open. You can tell that Dave put his heart and soul into this place. If you are planning a wedding in the future you may want to visit Mayers Lake Ontario Winery. There is going to be rooms upstairs for the bride and groom to get ready before the ceremony. Cabins are being built if you want to stay overnight. I can hardly wait to go back again for the apple and cheese pizza and delicious wine.

Amazing service! The patio is open and quite picturesque! The owner is planning on expanding the patio seating as well. Our server Kelly was spectacular! She works Thursdays and Saturdays. Owner and staff are so personable, you'll feel like a friend. Food and wine were delicious too, next time I'm trying the hard cide .

My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner. We were seated by the fireplace. We had champagne, a charcuterie board, the seafood pizza and a wine tasting. Everything was incredible. The wines were selected according to our preference. The service was wonderful and the ambience was lovely. Thank you for a great anniversary.

Dave gave us the best experience we could have asked for. Even though we weren't the only customers, we felt like we were! He provided us with a very informative tasting of many of his wines and they were great! We were hesitant to try the Apple Cheddar pizza, but glad we did, it was delicious!

This place is such a charm!! Enjoyed a great Sunday Funday early afternoon with some wine and cider flights and some of the best wood fire pizza around. The service was also exceptional, and the owner Dave really makes you feel like family. We will be back very soon!

Dave the owner is awesome! He personally lets us taste a variety of wines, cider and brew. EXTREMELY knowledgeable and friendly! We will absolutely be back. Booked our daughter’s bridal shower there also. Can’t wait for the new addition to open! Absolutely worth the trip!!

Last night my mom, boyfriend, his mom and I came to Lake Ontario Winery to do a wine tasting. We had been going around to different wineries all day and this was by far the best! Dave was so awesome! He picked out all the wines to try and gave us a great variety! He then proceeded to give us a barley wine and took us on a personal tour of his whole place! It was beautiful and amazing that he took the time to tell us the history of his winery and show us what he's adding on. We will 100% be back soon and again to see his new renovation! By far my new favorite winery!

Great place! Hosted my sisters bridal shower here. The ladies were super attentive and kept us updated on when food was coming out, where they placed tables for gifts, desserts, etc. Mimosa bar was always being replenished with juices and champagne. Food was GREAT! All made right there, perfectly seasoned and even served to our guests.
Highly recommend and will certainly host other events here.

One of my favorite wineries in the area. I have yet to try the food, but they have all sorts of dinner events and spaces for parties. Their prices are very fair, both for tastings, events, and bottles of wines and ciders. The wines are delicious-- Pink Diamond is one of my favorites, and their Pirates line is all so unique. The ciders are great, and not overly sweet. And the staff is very polite and helpful. I definitely recommend going here for a tasting.
