Les Cheneaux Motel

I had to travel to Cedarville for work recently and stayed at this motel - it is such a gem and I'm glad I'll get to stay there again when I have to return for work. The booking process is old fashioned (send a check, pay the rest in cash) and super easy, and the owners were so friendly and accommodating with check in and check out, even letting me stay a few extra hours in the morning because it was a weekday. The rooms are absolute relics, with so much retro charm and they were super clean and well stocked. I did want to mention that if you're a particular or sensitive sleeper, the mattresses are pretty outdated and aren't super comfortable, but some coffee in the morning and a walk around the marina will work out the neck and back kinks. I had a great time here and the price cannot be beat for a trip to such a cute coastal Michigan town.

Comfortable, clean and quiet for a reasonable price. Everything you need and nothing you don't. You won't be disappointed!

The rooms are dated, but very clean and nice. Well worth the money.

a very nice motel. stayed there from monday - thursday for a fishing trip. the kitchenettes are very nice and clean, and so are the bathrooms. the beds are nice and got made whenever we left. the owners are nice, and their dog “uke” is a good lad. expect good things from this motel.

Nice clean place to stay with kitchenettes. The Mudloff's are very nice people to work with. Come see them sometime. Great Great place to land for days trips in the U.P.

A lovely small town American motel. Be sure to keep in mind it is cash only. Cedarville is a nice community and so is Hessel. A great place to unwind.

Very clean and quiet. Usually stay for a week. Owners are great people, accommodating and helpful about were to fish.
